Cocktails like martini and sidecar look beautiful in them. One negative is that they are quite fragile and just a tiny tap on the rim will shatter the glass. But the sheerness of the glass also makes them pleasant to drink from as the rim is very thin.

I have other Orrefors glasses and wanted to add to the collection. The martini glasses are delicate, so be careful when washing. I would advise washing by hand with a gentle touch. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the delivery driver left them at a neighbor's house instead of mine.

These are very nice glasses with an elegant design. They look like the photographs when backlit, but in normal lighting the blue is darker and not quite as noticeable in my opinion. The lip is very thin and very fragile. I just ordered a replacement for one that I broke. It had a hair line crack all the way around the lip. I had always gently hand washed the glasses and was very careful when handling. I still don't know how the lip got cracked. Perhaps they are just a tad too fragile. ... show more

This is a high quality glass made by the Orrefors crystal company of Sweden. It is just as beautiful in real life as it looks on-line, and it is just the right size for a standard martini. I recommend it highly.

Beautiful, but one of two glasses had the rim break off in a ring prior to use. The replacement failed a second time, appears to have experienced an internal stress failure. Most disappointing as these gifts had to be returned twice. Do I dare reorder?

I ordered two glasses. NOT the set of TWO for More $. They were shipped separately. One is PERFECT ! The other is IMPERFECT! The "seconds" one has ripples in the bowl of the glass and is not uniform in thickness. Hand made, mouth blown crystal is not always perfect, but, I know why I got two different shlpments.
