I have been battling cancer for two years and am cold all the time. My wife on the other hand keeps the house at 67 degrees because she’s too hot. So I put a heavy T shirt on , then the vest, then a flannel shirt. The shirt holds the heat in. It’s wonderful. Toasty. Too hot at maximum, so I keep it medium. Battery lasts about 6 hours. The jacket is a very nice quality and was well packaged. Like prior reviews, I would say that it fits generally to size. The waist is full, while the neck/shouiders/arm openings are a bit snug when zipped. I normally wear Large and ordered same. Like the fit and it is good over a thick hoodie. Warms up very fast! I am just a wimp for the cold. I cannot stand being cold and my parents live up north and are misers with the heat. 65° inside is not livable for me so this is a life changer while I'm visiting. I tried 4 different brands of heated vest. Finally I'm keeping this one! Why....it does what the description says, it actually heats in all the areas that the description states it does. It heats in the pockets to keep my hands warm, it heats in the neck (gets a little to hot but I like it), it heats in the higher up middle of my back....which the others did not even when they said they did and the shoulders heat up. Finally after giving a fair chance at the other brands I am keeping this one....the Ororo band. This is actually our second vest that I ordered. I ordered one for my husband for work. I never tried it on but when I ordered my vest I should have stayed with the Ororo brand, I just wanted to make sure I gave others a fair chance. The vest is a little puffy where others were not but I'm all about the heat and where it heats up. Don't waste your time on other brands, this is a good one.
