So one day I randomly remembered having a Tamagotchi as a child. I remember my little character had died and well I wanted to see if it was still as fun as it used to be so I bought one lol. It was cute, I had a blast.... for a few days. Then I got annoyed. I had forgotten how dang needy this tamagotchi was! Its needier than my child and my dogs lol. Ok so maybe I ignored it for some hours... maybe some days... and well you get the jist. I know, Im terrible. Anyway, so it was fun while it lasted. I havent revived it or reset it. Definitely a great gift to give but make sure the child knows how to read the instructions or at least understand how it works because it comes with three buttons each for a different purpose. It can be a bit confusing if their too young.

So nostalgic! It’s the exact Tamagotchi I had when I was a kid. I got it for my niece. She’s not that into it but I am in heaven playing and taking care of this little thing. Love it

I like this and I would have been far more pleased if I didn't get one that had a crappy paint job. One side is good and the other is smeared and faded and didn't print all the way to the edge. For the price I would have appreciated it to look nice. Sometimes the buttons aren't very responsive on mine I don't know if its just mine or if they are all like that? If I had to give this to someone as a gift I would be probably have returned it and tried my luck again. ... show more

I don’t get it but, I bought it for my 9 yo daughter & she thought she’d won the lottery! It does what it says it will & she loved it, until it went through the wash. If you wash & dry it, it will no longer work, but for that moment, it was amazing (according to a 9 yo!).
