  • What a great book! Organization Hacks is a life saver
What a great book! Organization Hacks is a life saver, it provides useful, reasonable and common sense, approaches and hacks to getting large and small jobs started and completed. It includes easy to follow instruction and wonderful illustrations. I highly recommend this book to everyone and anyone who previously contemplated or successfully organized any aspect of home or professional life. The organization of the book itself provides so much encouragement. It's like I have my own personal team cheering me on and offering me unconditional support. The book's introduction reinforced my conclusion that organizing one's home is not a one method fits all proposition. Previously, I read other organizational books and tried several suggested methods. Some worked, most didn't, and I was over whelmed and felt I had failed the task. Carrie's book, is not so much about a specific method, more like here are some simple basic guidelines implement them in a way that works best for you. Stick with it, you'll succeed. Such a breath of fresh air. Carrie, thank you so much for your insight. Thank you for sharing your organization hacks. Thank you for your support. Again I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who has and is successfully meeting any organizational goals, WJ. ... show more

  • Lots of ideas
This book is packed with lots of ideas, but I'd hoped for more pictures of reconfigured closets, cabinets and shelves.

  • Awesome Resource
In the middle of decluttering. Too many de clutter books etc. This book spoke to me. I appreciate no new scientific methods , new lingo to learn about. This book is refreshingly simplistic in presentation, uses most of that I have on hand anyway, and has short enough chapters to not feel overwhelming. I love paperbacks. Hardcovers have jackets I always rip by mistake. This paper book is the right size for me to be visible to read and reference, but small enough to carry around with me while I’m navigating stairs with my supplies. Great value. Would be a great gift for anyone wanting to declutter their home. ... show more

  • Have a highlighter handy!
When I received this book, I opened it up, intending to peruse it and save it for later. Twenty minutes later, I realized that had been reading it page by page! I'm not new to organization hacks -- there were several in this book that I already use (turning the hangers backwards, for one) -- but then there are some real gems, that I hadn't thought of before, and will definitely put to good use. I like the easily digestible tips, but I kind of wish I had little sticky notes closeby when I was reading, so I could come back to the hacks that I'm adding to my "to do" list. I'm not much of a DIYer, so I probably won't do the projects, but there are plenty of easy hacks I can use without much work at all. I really appreciated how the author talks not just about 10 Ways To Use Mason Jars (which is great, BTW), but also how she addresses organizing in general. Like having a "home" for everything, putting like objects together (yes, I'm guilty of having batteries scattered all over the house), and concentrating things that serve similar purposes into one location (eg, coffee mugs above the coffeemaker). ... show more

  • book I got was not new and it is a small paperback. not what I expected
Small paperback, no color pics, just a VERY Simple minded book. If you are an organizational thinker type, this book doesn't have anything you have already thought up.

  • Disappointing
I was expecting something a little more exciting than this. It was text only with no pictures which typically provide inspiration to me. It's tinier than I expected, too.
