I pot the plant, and it doesn't grow very good in the dirt I pot it in. I must have gotten the wrong dirt for it. I don't know if it is the bamboo plant. It looks like it. The dirt turned a little bit mold on it..

I like the product a lot. I only wish it was not so expensive. It makes it hard to grow mre Bonsai trees when you have to pay $15-$20 for two quarts of soil. That amount doesn't go very far, and I'm retired and don't have deep pockets to shell out s lot of money to have Bonsai soil on hand at all times. It the makers of Bosai soil to reduce the cost to a more reasonable amount, like $9.95 for 2 to 3 quarts, I could order it more often than I do now. ... show more

Great stuff for bonsai like willow, and other thirsty plants. I found I had to mix it with soil mix (about 1 part soil to 4 parts of this mix for my ficus Benjamina). Great product in every other way. I don’t grow cactus, but I suspect that it drains so well, it would be perfect for them.

I ordered this for a second time. First one was great second one was not shipped when said and then when finally received had a hole in the top and bottom of the bag! I don’t want to return or refund cuz I need it for my trees but quality was terrible
