I needed a new cartilage piercing and had never had a hoop so I wanted to try. I got a 16g 8mm and it fits perfectly! I used a Bobby pin to pop it open to get it in and haven’t taken it back out but I’m guessing I’ll need to do that again, which isn’t terrible IMO. I used to have sensitive skin in my ears and this don’t bother me so either it’s fine or my ears aren’t as sensitive anymore. I slept on it last night and my ear didn’t hurt this morning so it doesn’t get in the way! Only thing is I’m pretty sure I bought rose gold and this looks more regular gold, which I’m fine with just not what I ordered. ... show more

I bought the 6mm for the side of my ear and it’s the perfect size. Also, I have really sensitive skin and other jewelry will bother my skin/turn it green. This ring is very cute and easy to put in. But I use it for a nostril piercing so if you twist it occasionally and the bracket opening snags your skin it hurts. Otherwise very happy with purchase as it doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin.

I've had this nose ring for approximately a year now and I still love it. It doesnt irritate my skin and its very comfortable. The only downside is its kind of difficult sometimes to get it to clasp shut all the way, it just takes a lot of force. Other than that its great, I definitely recommend it!

For years I used a simple steel hoop that I had to forcefully bend open and closed. It worked fine- since I rarely had to take it out- until I lost it after a dental xray. This hoop was my chosen replacement. It fits perfectly, audibly snaps shut and has yet to come unhinged after wearing it for 2 months straight, including wearing a cpap mask over my nose each night. Also. I have severely sensitive skin and have experienced no irritation whatsoever. Make sure you have a good idea of just what size you need.
