I bought the 7mm rose gold nose ring. It's beautiful and functional however I had an allergic reaction to it. I have an allergy to low quality metals and my piercing got very red and oozed. Same thing that happens when I wear cheap earrings. I have to wear only implang grade titanium or surgical steel. Even when it comes to bracelets, rings, and necklaces I am very allergic. I've never worn a hoop before. I was worried I got the wrong size however it's perfect. Snapped closed feels secure I can wash my face without snagging the washcloth and jerking my nose stud out... so far no tarnishing or irritation. Been 2 days with this new hoop and I'm very pleased so far. Sorry about the weird photos was trying to get close enough that you can see it clearly. In the 1st pic you can see the seam where the ring clasps closed. It's very secure I have tugged it a few times even tried to cause a snag with my loofah in the shower but never got snagged. I am over nose studs because I keep losing them all, and switched to a wire type ring that had no actual closure and constantly poked me. I took to Amazon and found this ring and I swear I will never go back! The smallest size (6mm? Can't remember!) is the perfect size, and it has a smooth closure that hasn't slipped or opened since I put it on weeks ago. No irritation and no discomfort! DO NOT BUY! They claim this is surgical steel, but it is definitely NOT!! This product caused me to have a huge allergic reaction and now I have a giant infection. My entire nose is swollen along with the whole right side of my throat (probably a lymph node reacting to the infection). I only kept the piercing in for two days. Yesterday my nose hurt but didn't think anything of it because I had changed my piercing and normally it gets a little red for a day or two. This morning when I woke up I had sharp pains where the piercing was, my nose was really swollen, and very hot. I immediately took it out and now I am trying to fight this wicked infection. Definitely DO NOT BUY if you have a medal sensitivity. DEFINITELY FALSE ADVERTISING!!! ... show more

Great product and love it! I wear studs but looked into hoops but hate the ones with the difficult ball on this and the half ones that always seem to fall out so I tried this and i love it very easy to put in and take out. Only thing is I ordered the 18g 7mm and the 7mm was a bit too snug for my liking. So I'm keeping it but I've ordered an 8mm, and a 9mm to see how I like those sizes :) ... show more

The sizing guide is right but there’s one thing that they don’t show in their photos about the sizes if you don’t know yours until you buy the product: If your piercing is dead center of your nose, you need to suggest getting either a 9 or 10mm because those will fit guaranteed. If you have your piercing closer to the edge of your nose, you need to get an 8mm or smaller. I say this because they sent me a measuring paper of how to tell which size to get AFTER I had bought a size too small for my designated piercing. I’m in love with the black nose ring for so many reasons!! First off I look good with it in, it’s stylish shiny, the clasp is amazing. The clasp hasn’t come open and there no snags or sharp edges where it’s closes, quality is on point. But the best part for a woman like me with a large nose is that I was able to find the size I actually wanted for me!!
