Wonderful book, I was very impressed by how readable this book was. Many technical books tend to be dry and difficult to read, I felt that the author did a great job at making the book more like a technical conversation. I loved the metaphors used to describe different mechanisms in the oracle database environment, and the charts and images work wonderfully to help visualize how things fit together. Oracle Database 12c PL/SQL Programming has met all of my expectations and more. There are plenty of great examples throughout the book that spark imagination and creativity. When you're wondering how something you've just read about works, you don't need to look vary hard to find an example to go with it. At the end of the chapters there are great questions to quiz yourself on as well. I have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy this book. ... show more

    • Not my favorite book. Lots of errors.
This book is really informative, but I just don't like the way it's laid out and it's riddled with errors and crappy copy and paste jobs that weren't correctly fixed for their new context. Unless you already know PL/SQL really well, I'd recommend some other PL/SQL book.
