Features

  • OptiWand inserts and removes soft contact lenses but takes practice and patience. Scroll down for instructional videos. Use only as directed.
  • This is not a suction cup for soft contact lens removal. It will help to pinch the soft lens. Soft lenses cannot be suctioned out due to their composition.
  • Insertion process must be completed quickly to avoid lens sticking to the wand.
  • The OptiWand is designed to hold the lens until placed on cornea during insertion. Look at center hole colored wand or contact lens to align the lens properly. When the lens touches the eye, twist the wand slightly to release the lens from wand.
  • The OptiWand functions much different than fingers and the same mistakes are made by nearly all users. It is not a suction cup for soft lens removal.

New Edit: I ordered a replacement, which seems to be in much better condition. I wanted these for putting my lenses in. They do a great job of that; I’m able to place my lenses in each eye in in one go. - - - Received the package just now. Banged up. Products seems like good quality, however these were completely useless for me, they did not help me to remove contacts at all, which is where I have issues. Perhaps if the the end pieces where a bit bigger, it would actually have helped, but I felt like it was just too small to grip the contacts in any useful way. These would probably be great if you just need to place the contacts into eyes. But I have no problem there, so again, it was a waste of money for me. ... show more
