A friend recommended BCAA to me, so I tried it. Please note that this is a personal opinion based on my personal experience. After starting serious exercise, my muscles really hurt. A friend recommended using BCAA to help. I don’t like pain, sort of allergic to it actually. And it worked. It did not stop the pain, but lowered it to a more “tolerable” level. Package arrived via prime, quickly as expected and in good condition. This was a good price for BCAA and is a quality product. Clear gel caps filled with the white BCAA Powder. There are great reviews here about the science of BCAA. This is a more personal review. My wife had her gallbladder removed a few years ago and her digestive system has went through various problems since, including minor IBS, excess acid and rapid digestion that inhibits absorption of necessary minerals and vitamins which cause unhealthy food cravings and muscle aches/cramps. She researched BCAA and hoped it would supplement her and aid in her digestion. She has been taking these along with Glutamine for 4 days now with absolutely no noticeable negative side effects. There are definate positive side effects. They seem to be aiding in her digestion, minimizing extra acid. She says she has more energy but not excess, like with stimulants. She also says she feels healthier, more alert, less muscle aches/cramps and general sense of 'well being'. Our digestive system is the core of providing nourishment and balance to the rest of our body. The BCAA seems to be helping that so other systems are also benefitting. Ok I feel bad giving 3 stars because there is nothing wrong with this product.. it's just that who wants to take so many pills!!! It's 2 pills per 1 gram, usually people take about 7g of bcaa... that's 14 PILLS!! (Pictured) then if you're taking the glutamine pills too? Oh god, I'm pretty good at taking pills but after 10 or so in a row I start to gag. Also there's only 60 pills in this container, so that's about three workouts. I'd recommend one of the many delicious powders instead! Particularly the Xtend BCAAs. (Pictured) ... show more
