I've been loving the Cotton Candy flavor. The price is great compared to other products that don't come in the normal boring chocolate vanilla and coffee type flavors. I would NOT recommend drinking it on an empty stomach though but it's been great for me so far both using it as a preworkout and then afternoon pick me up. It gives me really great energy without getting jittery unless I drink it on an empty stomach and don't eat soon. Interesting observation, when you use two scoops in 12 ounces of water it has a definite cotton candy flavor, but 3 scoops in 16 ounces of water and it tastes like blue raspberry which I have no complaints about b/c it isn't chocolate or vanilla. ... show more

ON is quickly becoming my go to brand for my workout and fitness! I have five of the Amino Energy now and I love them all! The grape with collagen is the one I like mixing with others to combine flavors since I am not a huge grape person. It still tastes really good though and I love the added benefit of the collagen. Strawberry burst tastes exactly like a pink starburst. It is so good! I love using this before and during my workout. Cotton Candy smells exactly like cotton candy. It has a blueberry cotton candy flavor. I really like it! Watermelon is ok for a pre, but I am not a huge fan of the flavor to sip on but it is more my flavor profile liking. It still tastes amazing! Pineapple is really good too. It is more subtle with the flavoring than some of the others. I have also dry scooped some of these for a pre-workout. I like them both ways! product it's self work great! now regarding flavor i decided to go big or go home and purchase the Cotton Candy one! Due to i LOVE cotton candy ice cream , the sweet smell , the candy its self. But if you are a big cotton candy enthusiast like me you know that there is the gross awful fake Artificial medicine tasting flavor you get when getting cotton candy flavored items at times. HOWEVER that is not the case here!! This one has a sweet flavor to it its not perfecr but its definitely good!! very happy it didnt taste like crap like most cotton candy flavored stuff. i really enjoy this one ! if you like cotton candy would definitely get it .. go big or go home. ... show more

    • It's BLUE RASPBERRY Cotton Candy!
When I saw Cotton Candy flavored, it took me about 2 1/2 seconds to put this in my cart. I frequent the Watermelon flavor a lot but thought it was a good time to try something new, and I happen to LOVE cotton candy flavored stuff. This cotton candy has a flavor though... and its def in the blue raspberry family which happens to be one of my least favorite flavors. That being said, even my hatred for blue raspberry anything is not enough to sway me away from the product. I'll finish it for sure, and try again with a new flavor next time! As far as the product how its intended to be used (not just flavor profile), Optimum Nutrition was my first brand of BCAA's that I tried.... I'm pretty new to all this so I'm more or less in a mode of "Is this drink doing what I want its supposed to?". Since my first BCAA purchase, I have tried a few other brands, but if we are talking about how my muscles feel after a tough workout, I've liked Optimum Nutrition the best. Plus it turns out these guys are local to me... holla from the other side of I-80! ***** EDIT ******* The flavor really grew on me. I'll be ordering this one again after all ... show more

    • Great for daily use without heavy exercise

I've tried a few BCAA's like this and the XTEND Blue Raspberry. I think both are great but this one overtook the XTEND for daily use. Just personally I forget to replenish my electrolytes and this seems to do the trick. For me the Citrus flavors seem the best such as the Lime one, which I cut with light lemonade or lime juice and unflavored creatine when actively working out. I will say that sometimes on multiple buys the quality was less than what I was use to and nor a fan of silica packets inside the container. Personally after using this product I think everyone should add a BCAA to their diet as it does make me feel more hydrated. Overall its a great product, but ON needs to clam down on quality control, so that's why it gets 4 stars. ... show more

I LOVE that this drink powder gives me even, steady energy throughout the day, whether it's for a workout or for long study/work hours. Every other caffeine supplement I've tried makes me jittery and irritable. This one not only gives me energy but actually seems to improve my mood and generally makes me LESS irritable. As a pre-workout, it makes it so much easier to keep running when I hit the wall, and it helps me put extra intensity into my weight training. I love the blueberry mojito flavor, but the lemon lime isn't bad either. My one complaint, which is hardly a complaint at all, is that when my lips are chapped (which is fairly often in the dry climate where I live), it makes them sting after I drink it for twenty minutes or so. ... show more

I've been using ON Amino energy for years. Some of the flavors are a little artificial and chemical tasting- the cotton candy is the worst, unfortunately bcus how delicious cotton candy sounded. My go-to is orange and grape. Watermelon and Green Apple taste exactly like Jolly Ranchers.

I searched for quite a while before I landed on this preworkout. I love cotton candy and there were a lot of brands out there with that flavor. I chose this one because it was pretty good in the price department and the reviews seemed to favor it. I am glad I did. I can use a small amount for a quick pick me up like coffee would do, or I can add some more and be a beast. It tastes super yummy. Not exactly like cotton candy, but there are really no cotton candy "flavored" products that truly do. I also don't feel jittery or weird when I drink this so that is a plus. It is totally worth a try if you are not sure what to go with. ... show more
