    • Glows and looks cool when glowing
The media could not be loaded. For whatever reason I love stuff that glows in the dark. I saw this listing and thought, now if these really work they would be cool for my pot plants in the back yard. I purchased them just because they were cheap and I thought it would be fun to them out. Like most things like this I have tried, it was pretty much they same ole thing. . . yes they glow as advertised. . . but it will never last long enough that you will be able to see it at night. I put them in sunlight and they did charge up and were pretty bright (as displayed in the listing picture). However after the sun goes down, the glow just isn't there. They don't feel like real rocks. . . they have a plastic feel them, but when looking at them they look just like a real pebble. I am going to try them in my beta tank, and hope that maybe I will at least get to enjoy the glow for a little while after the lights are shut off.     • These do not glow at all. Not one bit.
This item is a giant piece of crap, honestly. They're a nice color, and there are plenty of them, but I have them sitting in direct sun all day and there is absolutely no glow at night. Not even faint. None. I followed the directions, they're not in the package, they're not in a heap, and there is no ambient light. Still no glow. So I'm not sure what these are supposed to be used for besides a lame science experiment in a windowless bathroom. The pictures showed a sidewalk being lit up by them. Pretty sparkles in the night. That's a complete lie. The only good thing I can say is that I heard from the Opps company themselves, and they issued a full refund, but I still can't give it 2 stars because the product is just that awful. "I'm sorry you're not happy with the amount of glow", they said. Lol, there is NO glow! I think this company should change their name from Opps to OOPS. ... show more

    • Does work inside.
I was very disappointed. First the stones are small -- fill a 9" plate. Second they do not glow at all. I left them out in the middle of the yard where they got full sun. They were on a plate ensuring all stones were laying flat & not on top of one another. Nothing, not even a small glow. HOWEVER, WHEN I BROUGHT THE STONES INSIDE to pack them up to return them, they had a little glow inside. So, I believe there might have been too much light at night in the area that I was attempting to highlight. So, I am changing my review to okay. ... show more

    • Hey doubters- these work!
Gave these to my daughter as part of her b-day gift for her dorm room. I tested them before giving them, by putting them in a south facing window( on a cloudy day) for only a few min, and then into a closet they went to check their glow. (Impatient? ;) They work! Next day I had more time, and they went back onto the south windowsill, sunny this time. They absorbed sun all day, still in their package, and glowed all night long. I even checked their glow at 1:00 and 4:00 a.m, for this review and to satisfy all you insomniacs out there. Keep in mind( per negative reviews I've read) they are NOT actual night- lights, just little plastic "rocks" which give off a soft glow. I think the green glow brighter, and sooner with less light exposure, but the blue glow well, just more softly ( which may just be their color) and the two colors look great together, in my opinion. They might be large for a tiny fairy garden, but give the type of glow you'd expect. It would take about a zillion for a driveway, but for a windowsill, potted plants, other decor the 100 piece pkg works fine. There is a helpful review on you tube which shows size, color, and glow that I watched before buying. I will buy more for my youngest daughter as she was eyeing them on her sis' b-day. :) Cool product! Opps should offer pink and purple!! ... show more

I got 2 backs to sprinkle in my front garden and left them there for weeks but never did they really glow: the light is so dim. If you got a bunch and put them closer together then maybe it’ll be better. Better idea in my head than in reality.

    • Have not yet put in garden but order more than u think u need
I have not placed them in my garden yet so my review may be a bit premature. However, they come packed clear so you can see their color which is just as shown in listing. Very vibrant but not tacky. I cannot totally judge the glow. I've had them in clear package in partial direct sunlight by my kitchen window waiting for garden to be complete to lay. I haven't noticed much of a glow. But again that may be because they are still packaged and only getting some light when the sun is hitting back of my house shining on kitchen counter. I only ordered 2 packs not knowing exactly how much each pack would cover. I plan on scattering them with other grey not glow stones. Even so 2 is not enough. I should have ordered 6 at least, maybe more, so good thing the price is so great. I plan on laying them down next week. So hopefully once outside in the sun they will absorb the light they need to cast a lovely glow once sun goes down. I imagine during the day they will still add the pop of color i wanted. If they glow as expected I will be ordering more. From description i did think the packs would be a bit larger than they were. So order more than you think you will need. I do imagine that they are simply not getting the light they need only getting partial sun & i will get the glow i expected once i lay them in garden. i will most likely be ordering more as soon as i find out. Prematurly gave 4 stars brcause i can't judge glow , thought the packs would hold more , but gave 4 because color w/out glow is beautiful, price is great, arrived quickly. ... show more

These are just blue rocks. They do not glow at all. The glow is the only reason I bought them. total waste.
