I must say that I am extremely happy with this rug! It's better than what is described in the description. Put the carpet in the location desired as soon as we received it. It layed perfectly flat, no lumps or concerns about it sticking up on the edges, or it sliding around like other carpets in the past, absolutely NO REASON to buy rubber undermat or sticky pads to secure it and no concerns about other problems that usually occur when purchasing area rugs. The carpet is mine blowingly soft, it has almost a thin memory foam that feels silky when walking or laying on it. The colors are absolutely awesome, and the fact that I was able to open the package and put it down right away without having to put weight on the edges to make it lay flat, vacuuming it off to remove loose strands, purchase other products to make it more comfortable etc. has me so happy. My 1 year old daughter has been laying on it and just running her hands around it feeling the softness! I can honestly say that I can see myself laying on the floor to eat h movies now, and see my wife and I spending more time on the floor playing with our baby without getting uncomfortable from the hard floor! If your looking for a fluffy, soft, slightly shaggy carpet that's extremely comfortable then I highly recommend you purchase this product as the quality is great, prices are affordable, and it comes in whatever size you want and many colors. The rug came as expected. The color is rich and dark. There is grippies on the bottom of the rug making it stay in place. The fabric is silky soft and fluffy, it's lovely. I didn't notice any weird shipping smells or chemical smells so that's great too. Overall I would say that this is something I will purchase again when I need another new area rug ... show more

Extremely soft, as vibrant as the pictures show it. Machine wash doesn’t harm it, I’ve done it. Easy to clean, perfect size for small or large room. My daughter got it before she could crawl and she still loves it at 18 months.

The rug is very soft upon opening but you have to let it sit and settle so the curling comes out. I have washed since purchasing and the curling doesn't happen after washing and air drying for me! It's soft and thick enough for a toddlers room on a hard slab with thin linoleum flooring. It functions as I need it to and holds up well in the wash. In about 5 months, i've machine washed 3-4 times and it still looks great and relatively close to new. The reason I took off one star is the material catches any and everything and it feels different after washing. This could come with the territory of having to wash often, however, the feeling changed after just one wash following the instructions. It's still soft and not matted or anything, just not the quality it was right out of the package. ... show more
