Did not turn on or spin!! Was awful for a gift and was only sometimes able to turn on and that's it. The top was very easily open don't know if mine came with an error or if something was missing.

I bought this as a gift for a three year old boy. It was perfect! The entire family loved it. It can use batteries or be plugged in to the wall. It doesn't come with a standard plug, just a USB, so you will need to have an adapter laying around or purchase one separately. The remote works fine. Spinning movement was smooth and silent. We've had this for less than a year. Only using the power cord. It started malfunctioning a couple months ago. The plug has to be rigged to work properly. It randomly cuts off within minutes. It definitely doesn't work up to 999 minutes. It will only do 300 minutes and it's not true to time. It cuts off early. Makes a squeaky, grinding noise occasionally.
