It was easy to roll out. I am not using a pad under the rug and it feels great. It’s light weight. I recommend tacking down the edges to vacuum. It vacuums well—no problems. It looks great in my room and I am very happy with this purchase.

This rug was purchased for a bedroom because we have cold floors. Ever since I have had the rug, it is not able to be vacuumed, nor washed. There is ZERO possibility of getting the stuff out that is stuck in the fibers. I even tried a lint roller to get stuff out. It's been horrible to have something in my house for a year that is not able to be cleaned in the slightest. As a professional cleaner and a germaphobe, I would give this rug negative 50 stars! Cute rug, comfortable and soft. However be warned if you want to live in a room with this rug. Crumbs, hair, dirt, food debris, small items all will get eternally imbedded in the thick shag. Underfoot you can feel every single thing you’ve ever dropped in it, which is revolting. Beating, vacuuming, or sweeping is totally useless. Maybe if you have an industrial strength vacuum with extremely powerful capabilities this is a purchase for you. Otherwise is essentially uncleanable, at least in my opinion/experience. Might be a good rug if you never plan to walk, eat, drink, craft, or otherwise live in its vicinity ... show more

This is an amazing rug for the price, I purchased the 6x9 size in black for my one bed apartment to place in the living room area, it fit beautifully. I think if I went a size bigger it would look nice too but I won’t be returning this one. It’s just as soft as all the reviews say it it. Yes, it is a thinner rug. This doesn’t bother me because my living room already has carpet so this is more so for color and decor. If you are planning on placing this on hard wood I would maybe opt for something thicker. ... show more
