I was going to return this but decided to put it it out. I’m so glad I did. It’s beautiful, the color is perfect. We had a pad to lay it on but I don’t think it needs a pad. The carpet is a bit slippery. Be sure to pick up your feet. Super plush!! Lays without any lines or wrinkles. Warm feel, looks great & the size was exactly 9x12. I hope it lasts for a long time. It looks a little wrinkled from being shipped. I like it. Great value and pretty too! Warning tho this rug is extremely slippery. Trip hazard for the elderly. Great for places we don’t walk much.

I got this small rug to place in front of my recliner, to sort of define my sitting room space. I love that it's so silky, it feels great on the bottoms of my feet. That said, the pile is pretty sparse, I don't expect it to last for years and years. Also, because of how silky it is, I don't think it would work well in a traffic area - people could easily slip and fall, especially in stocking feet. And finally, it's pretty hard to keep clean. Because of how long the pile is, little crumbs get stuck in it and bury their way down to the bottom, out of reach of the vacuum cleaner. So I have to go over it with my hands, plucking out whatever I can feel; then go over the whole thing with my handheld vacuum. It's doable on such a small rug; but if this were on a larger area it would be a real hassle. ... show more

I will be honest, I had low expectations on this purchase. It arrived in one of those compressed packages where the air is removed from the item. My heart sunk... I cut a small opening in the plastic, it immediately wanted to puff up. I opened the package, it still looked unimpressive. I bought this to go on top of the light grey carpet next to my bed., It surprised the heck out of me! The pile is very soft and silky, the rubber backing on the rug held the rug in place. It absolutely added protection to the carpet as well as a lovely color contrast. Surprised to say, it absolutely exceeded my expectations. It may be a different situation on a hard surfaced floor... for me, using it as a protective carpet rut--solid five stars! ... show more

At first I was concerned as the packaging were small boxes for the size of area rugs, but then upon opening saw it was vacuum sealed! Love the color of both the 4x6 and 2x3 area rug (true to description) Both are very soft and feel great barefoot!!! I can see why some rate it as not being for high traffic area as it is very thin. I had to take off 1 star because it does have a VERY strange and pungent chemical odor...probably because of the vacuum seal??? Aside from the odor (which i hope goes away after a day or two) it is as advertised. I see no curling on edges, quality seems good...on the 4x6 i wish i had ordered bigger as it seems a bit small (but does measure accurately). Overall satisfied with purchase and would recommend for a NON HIGH TRAFFIC area. ... show more
