  • Practical Guide
This is a practical guide on how to incorporate operational risk and is far beyond other books I’ve read on the subject. I highly recommend this book.

  • Insightful delivery/coverage of Operational Risk Management
Ariana’s book is packed with very useful information and advice. I’m currently 35 percent through her book and like her approach. Her discussion on Fault Tree Analysis is spot on and a very useful tool. I rated Ariana’s book five stars because it is packed with so much useful information, the book is an enjoyable read that one needs to periodically reflect upon what was just covered, and you may find yourself asking why I have not thought of that. I will provide an update once I have finished her book. ... show more

  • A must-have book for anyone interested in Operational risk
This book is suitable for anyone who wants to implement/improve the risk function in a company. Usually people tends to focus on financial risks (a.o. market, credit and liquidity risks), while operational risks might be the one people encounter the most ! This book is filling this gap ! The book is full of examples taken from Chapelle's large experience in risk consulting. Given its completeness, I am using it as my main reference book in my "non-financial risks" classroom ! ... show more

  • Easy reading, informative reference book.
I bought this book as a primer to ORM in financial institutions. For a reference book, it is written in an easy to read manner. It is informative and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a grasp of ORM.
