I've been hoping to find a better dry food for a long time now sure was hoping this was it. I have two baby's my Penelope will eat just about anything my male Lu will eat nothing but friskies so took a chance and unfortunately it's not working. That being said for me this checked all the boxes was impressed with the ingredients, quality, and better nutrition, the smell I thought would be iristable to them . The price is a little high but so is most of the better brands out there. The only thing I think could be improved would be the size of the kibble, it's a little small. I’ve tried basically every cat food brand out there from Blue to Purina to random smaller brands. My cats aren’t picky babies. This food though. I can’t sing it praises enough. I have one cat in particular that would eat till she puked if I let her. At her heaviest she was up to 23lbs and was ALWAYS starving on their old foods. She’d bully the other 2 cats out of their food constantly. I swapped to this one, same feeding schedule/amount and everything, and she’s now down to 14lbs and leaves food in the bowl when she’s done. She looks so much healthier, her coat doesn’t have dandruff anymore, and actually wants to play again! Obviously some cats are pickier than others but for mine this is a 10/10. This is high grade food for cats. Excellent product. The moment you open the bag, it stinks of seafood and the kibble looks inviting. I can tell good quality when I see it. Also read the ingredients and all pass the safety and quality standards. I recommend it. My cats love it.

We have two cats that we are very, very fussy about. They have the best of everything and I have done lots of research to ensure this. My feeling is, like children, they didn't ask to be put here so if they're our responsibility they deserve the best. I started with Blue Buffalo but wanted something even better. I researched and almost bought Royal Canin but found it had fillers in it..nope! My research brought me to this food and I thought I'd give it a try bcuz I really liked that the ingredients were locally sourced and there were no "fake" ingredients. Well one of the ways I check to see if the food is fresh is its initial smell from the bag. If it smells like "cat food" (yes, the food manufacturers add fake smell for us and fake taste for our furries), I immediately discard it. This food smelled exactly like it should...nasty. I know that sounds contradictory but trust me I do my research. Another sure way of seeing the results of the food I feed them is in the litter box (btw stainless is the best for a litter box base and Arm & Hammer's new Hardball litter is the BEST!). Since using this new food our Siamese and Ragdoll's poops have been firm and smelly and their coats are shiny, healthy, and beautiful. Now my #1 cat food of choice!! ... show more

We have 5 cats and one of them ate a few bites and walked away. The others were totally not interested. Usually they love a fresh bag of food. I bought this because it was advertised as pasture-raised lamb, something I felt didn't have any GMO grains in it. I opened the bag and it smelled like the bay at low tide - very fishy. Fresh meat, no grains, and transparency, this I appreciate. But when the second and third ingredients are fish, THIS needs to be made more apparent. I admit, I didn't read the fine print - the ingredient list, but heck, I foolishly trusted that this was a quality food made of mostly lamb as the protein source, not a food with SOME lamb and a lot of fish fillers. Luckily the barn cats eat anything, but I won't buy this brand again.
