About this as a wedding wedding present before a second marriage. After looking through the book, I may have to buy one for myself. We have been married over 50 years and I don’t know all the answers to the questions in the book.

We got this book early into our relationship and our now entering our 7th year together, so just started book #3! The journal has become part of our bedtime ritual. We also jot down what happened that day and have loved seeing how our answers have changed over the years.     • I love this journal just one thing...
I love this couples journal. It is a beautiful and easy way to connect with my partner as we work opposite schedules as it is easy to go through the week and not talk about our relationship, our hopes, or anything of real meaning. I like that the space for each answer is small because it forces me to be as consise as possible when answering the questions and simple for my partner to also put his thoughts on paper. I gave this to my husband as a gift for christmas and he was surprisingly pleased at the gift. We are both on board. My only issue is the lines provided for each partner to respond is diferenciated by line color. This was not enough to prevent my partner from writing on the line for the following year. Maybe in front of the line there could be a line for the name or "You" and "Me". Just something a little more pronounced to see the. Difference of where each person should write. The lines are very light and I didnt even notice the difference until I was writing my first response. I see how it can be easily missed. Overall I love this and very happy with this new way of communicating with my husband. ... show more

My husband and I have been using this over the past year and have loved it. We have an alarm set every night and write our answers together and discuss. I’m looking forward to going back through a second year to see how our answers have evolved and changed. Couldn’t recommend this journal more!

My husband and I are LOVING this book so far! We had done something similar a couple of years ago, but that journal was just a bunch of blank lines each day, so there was a little bit of pressure to come up with something to write each day. This one has daily prompts, which I thought might be kind of dumb, but have actually ended up being pretty great. The prompts are usually pretty easy to answer, though sometimes it'll be a little more involved and I have to think about it for a while before answering. We actually chat about the daily questions quite often, and I've enjoyed reading some of the answers my husband has written...things he doesn't necessarily feel comfortable saying out loud but is fine with writing down on paper.
