I love love love this carpet. It is so soft and the padding is very nice. It is a bit slippery until you get used to it. The pattern is very nice and fits in our modern home well. I live that you can vacuum it and that it’s machine washable. When it first arrived I had my doubts. It was folded and vacuumed sealed. Opening it up it smelled pretty bad, like the plastic packaging. It would not lay flat and was bunched up pretty badly wear it was folded. It was so soft and I loved the dark color so I decided to throw it in the wash. I used a low spin and it came out smelling much better. BUT because of the low spin to protect it, it was extremely heavy. The thick padding retains water like a sponge so I was soaked by the time I got it on the drying rack. It took three days to dry but that would have been shorter if I hadn’t left it hanging in our basement the first full day. After that, I hung it in the window where it got full sun for two days and it dried much faster. I’ll definitely stick to washing this on hot summer days instead. Overall this rug is so awesome, I couldn’t be happier with it and I’ll most likely be getting a second one for my bedroom. ... show more

Perfect I loved it . Unfortunately my dog peed on my rug but it was great and so soft. Super hard to clean especially if you get the big one because you can’t put in washer and dryer but I would recommend and will buy another one when I can again. Only problem is it sticks to the floor . So it’s bad of your renting!!! I had a slumb lord at the time so when I pulled up the rug it took the paint off the floor too but great if you have real hard wood flooring , no slipping and sliding 👌wasn’t super super thick but for the price of $50 it was super worth it and it’s huge and super soft ! Due to this, there has to be something holding it down or friction underneath to ensure it does not move all over the place. The media could not be loaded. The texture of this rug is so satisfying - it’s soft and enjoyable. Both my kids laid on it immediately. My boyfriend has the grey one and I have the tan. I bought mine because I was so impressed by his. Prrrrrrrfect. The 4 star is the off gassing of the carpet. It’s been a few days and there is a lingering manufacturing odor which is meh 🫤 but overall the look and feel will overcome that slight annoyance. Despite the packaging odor, the rug is shipped very compact which initially I worried would cause a wrinkle or crease but no such fear is valid - the moment you unfold it - it’s soft and absolutely no creases remain. Good purchase especially at this price point. While mine is new, my boyfriend has had his for several months and has a dog and kids and his is still just as soft and lush - it appears to be durable.
