  • Really Solid For The Price
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
It is very stable and has a good weight to it. I don't think about it at all while I'm playing, which is exactly what you want. Assembly was less than 5 minutes and it folds up for storage.

  • Very disappointing
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
This stand is sturdy enough but, as I am very short, it does not adjust down far enough, making it hard for me to reach the keys and I have to put cushions on the bench. The X design also makes it hard to get my legs under the stand. I do not recommend this design for serious players. Eventually I will replace with the table design. ... show more

  • On-Stage Classic Single X Keyboard Stand
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
I needed a stand for a 76 key Yamaha keyboard that weighs under 15 pounds and this On-Stage X model popped up during an internet search. I am not a professional hauling it to gigs, but I appreciate that it is portable and collapses for storage. The stand has a weight capacity of 90 pounds. There are five height adjustments from 27 to 38 inches easily attained by using the pull knob to release and then secure the pin into one of the holes in the disk. I did this without the keyboard in place. Assembly is simple, the X section is already in one-piece so just the bottom and top arms need to be attached to it using the included Allen wrench. The wrench is stored on a square shaped washer that fits over one of the legs so it is always nearby whenever needed. The screws are partially attached in the end of each leg, so use the wrench to remove, position the proper arm in the correct direction, replace the screw and use the wrench to secure in place. It is wise to look at the instructions because although basic, assembly is not intuitive. First face the X with the height-adjustment knob facing forward (toward the player.) Then attach the arms but note both the longer bottom arms that rest on the floor along with the shorter arms that support the keyboard have a long and short side. . For structural stability the bottom arms should be installed with the short side facing the player and the top arms should have the short side away from the player, behind the keyboard. Then the keyboard simply rests on the rubbery sleeves on the ends of the top arms, and although my initial placement was wobbly, I moved it until it was level and it is doing an excellent job supporting the instrument. Parts are available on the website. Page down on the lower right side under support and have the stand’s model number handy to locate parts quickly. An economical and functional solution. ... show more

  • Good stand for the money
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
This stand is for a keyboard I bought for someone else. It is very similar to the stand I have for my own keyboard; my stand and keyboard stay in the same place all the time and don't get moved around much at all (though years ago I moved them around some), and the stand has been problem-free for many years. I expect that this new stand, if well-cared for, will be the same. I did assemble the new stand and try it out with a keyboard. The assembly was a bit confusing because the semi-circular disc with holes was on the wrong side and had to be transferred to the other side of the pole it was on. Putting the "arms" and "legs" on the stand was also a bit tricky -- I had to turn a couple of them around when they didn't line up quite right. But all the screws and wrenches needed to assemble and disassemble the stand were included, and there is also a little rubber holder on the stand for holding the 2 wrenches -- so wherever you take the stand, you can assemble & disassemble it without worrying about bringing any tools with you. But you'd better practice taking it apart and putting it together before you are in a pressure-cooker situation and also take the assembly instructions along unless you really know what you're doing. ... show more

  • Giid price, a little wobbly
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
It looks great, arrived quickly, and was pretty easy to assemble. It's a bit wobbly, almost like the pieces are off balance. (Yes, my floor is totally flat.) I slipped a piece of cardboard under it, and it was great. For the price and convenience, it's a good buy.

  • parts keep coming off, don't buy!
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
so this at first glance is kinda nice, but! if you do not buy things from the people who have experience making things for musical instruments its just another showstopper. I assembled it following instructions exactly and one of those sits on my studio fine no problem, because its not moving at all, and its the only scenario where I would recommend you use it. I got another one for gigging with a keyboard that weights about 28 lbs and its just honestly a nightmare to take anywhere, but portability is not its weak factor. First of all it will not go low enough so I always have to get either tall benches, take my own which I can graduate, or just play at a totally ridiculously high angle which really degrades and makes piano technique way more difficult. Second of all parts, arms are becoming loose. Specifically screws. I have to keep tightening those often and when I get to a gig its really annoying to find that one of the arms is kind of wobbling. Third, the rubber feet or caps are just... rubbish caps! they keep on falling off all of the time. I have lost pretty much all of them, so now the stand is kind of useless. Please as a professional musician, do yourself a favor and buy things from competent people who actually have experience with real life use cases. My return window has passed because I bought this when covid restrictions were still harsher and I noticed these problems until recently Maybe what I will do is to get some caps from other stands and use super bonding glue or something to get this to a decent working state. ... show more

  • The screws are in the ends of the legs
style: Single-X Keyboard Stand
This is a very inexpensive (I paid $20-ish) keyboard stand that suits my needs perfectly. Assembly was done in ten minutes or less. Directions were easy to follow. This holds my 3/4 size Donner keyboard perfectly in the 2nd or 3rd wheel position, and is perfect height for me to sit at. I deducted one star as there was a little bit of shipping damage on one of the legs. The product box was the shipping box and is a cheaper cardboard that did not hold up to shipping. It was smashed out on one side and retapped. NOTE: Also, the screws you are looking for are attached to the ends of the legs. It isn’t until you read the directions that it is mentioned that’s where to find them. ... show more
