I love OluKai and have several pairs of their sandals, all in my normal size. Because of this, I didn’t read the reviews until after I’d ordered this bootie because I was sure I wouldn’t have any problems with them. A day before they came I was wondering if they were really going to fit or if I’d have to send them back for a larger size. They were kind of snug right out of the box but not uncomfortable, so I wore them around the house a couple of times over the next two days to decide whether they’d work for me. They loosened up a little bit, which was enough for me to decide to keep them. I can wear them barefooted or with my lightweight Smartwool socks and they’re pretty comfortable, and also should be warm enough for cold weather as they’re fully lined with a woolly fabric inside. ... show more

I have flip flops and closed shoes from this brand, and they have my normal size fit. These I had to order up a half size. The length is good, but they feel a bit snug across the widest part of the foot (and that's with a thin sock). The style is nice, but the sueded nubuck top looks like it will mar/stain easily. I had planned to use these as waterproof, comfortable travel shoes. I'm not sure they'll make the grade for that. ... show more

I really loved these shoes except they run small. I originally ordered from Zappos size 8 and retuned because they were too small. I returned them for 8 1/2 and still my toe was at the front. I thought they would stretch a little because they are leather. I did wear them a lot because overall they were comfortable and kept your feet warm and dry. I ordered a size nine because I really liked the shoes and wanted them to be more comfortable. The size nine still pressed on my big toe so I just returned them. I really wanted to love these because they are really cute. But the leather was already damaged when they were shipped, they are narrow, and there were hot spots. Where the inner lining was sewn to the leather on the top and side of the foot, there is thick gray thread that rubbed after walking around the house in these shoes. I bought these because I have had horrible foot problems. I started wearing these daily and my feet are like new! I bought the slippers too. They are true to size but if you have wide feet I would recommend you go up a size. I wear a 5 and have a hard time finding shoes that fit right. These fit perfectly.
