I have a lot of OLight stuff. Not a single product has failed me in years of active use. The BALDR Mini is an excellent micro light/laser combo. The mount it comes with is a QD with a lot of available adjustment. I'm a big fan and totally ignore the trolls who "dis" the company. My experience speaks volumes as to the quality. The only downside, OLight has been raising prices a lot. They risk losing a large percentage of their captive audience if they're not careful. The main reason I love the stuff is the high quality combined with the value proposition. If the value is no longer a factor, I'll look elsewhere next time. Happy Labor Day 24 all. ... show more

I attached it to a Byrna LE straight out of the box. There was enough of a charge to check the lighting and switches and I am super happy with it. Every switch you need to cycle through are right at the tip of your finger from either side. The green laser is easy to see in full summer daylight. The flash light is bright enough to blind and open up a room. Super easy to charge either while its attached or its really easy to remove while the base stays attached to your lower rail. A Byrna has approx 3" between end of barrel and trigger cage so this light fits perfectly within it, it does not protrude beyond the barrel. I'm going to buy it again ... show more

Absolutely amazing. Put on Glock 17, Super bright, laser is perfect. Love that you can switch between laser, light or both. Switch to turn on is in the perfect location. Fits on Canik Mete SFT. Or also on any 1913/picatinny rail. Bought this during a sale ($87). This product is high quality. It is not a budget light. It is mid-tier. It is not as expensive as other brands such as Surefire which can easily run you north of $300. There are so many good light options, I picked this one and was not disappointed. I selected this model because I enjoy lasers. Lasers are just plain fun, and provide an alternative way to aim. The green laser, class 3R, is very bright! I recommend not getting the laser in your eyes and make sure to be careful of the reflection! The light is good. 600 lumens and is bright enough for my needs (close quarters home defense & personal protection), although there are many other models with as high as 1500 lumens--If you want a larger heavier light and/or want a light for longer distances, to blind your foe, or cause them to turn away or not engage due to the severity of such brightness at close range. The fact that this light has a rechargeable battery is very nice! And even better, the light does not need to be removed in order to be charged. The magnetic charging cable is included for the enclosed rechargeable battery--and the battery will likely need to be charged when you first receive this item. Also know that you will need to use one of your own wall plugs as they do not provide one. This light easy and quickly attaches and is removed, since it has a lever quick-release, as opposed to many picatinny rail accessories that need to be screwed in with a allen wrenches. One suggestion to the manufacturer: it would be nice if they made this light with a strobe-light option to select as a forth option, for laser models. Models without a laser often have a strobe mode. Great engineering! Its very bright easy to operate, mounts to frame easily, NOTE clamp side opposite locking lever is spring loaded, so put that side in first then pull it over and up into place.

I owned this combo Baldr Mini combo light with a green beam for 3 months. And I have to say that I'm not impressed with how it performed after shooting 100 rounds a few weeks ago. The light is still good but the green dot did not hold and turned into a spreadout green light. I tried reaching out to Olight for their warranty or maybe a replacement but never received any response. For a reputable company such as Olight, their customer service needs some improvement. Don't get me wrong, this is my 2nd Olight mini and I love their lights but not so with the laser beam. If you have the extra money it's better to consider looking somewhere else for the high-end laser beam or just stick with their lights. UPDATE: After weeks of waiting, Olight finally responded and corrected this issue by replacing the item. Hopefully this time the beam is shock resistant to keep its zero, only time will tell. For their customer service, I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. ... show more
