Excellent, useful, and handy. I have countless Olight products..... headlamps, flashlights, weapon lights, etc. I run them on everything, I use them all the time. The charger they use is genius and convenient. They're scattered all over my garage, bedroom, overland rig, work truck, etc. No matter which light I need to charge, there's going to be a charger near by and they're all the same, genius. The light output is very impressive, as is the battery life. Olight makes spending 3X the money on Surefire silly for all but the most serious Tactitions. This particular Olight, the Arkfeld Ultra, is no different. The size to output ratio is amazing, it's solid, versatile, and overall very impressive. I couldn't be happier with all my Olight products. With its 3-in-1 functionality, I've got a ridiculously bright 1400 lumen flashlight, a high-power green laser, and a 365nm blacklight all wrapped up into one sleek package. The build quality is top-notch - it feels like it can withstand just about anything I throw at it (and I'm not exactly known for being gentle with my gear). I was most impressed with the build quality of this light. The solid aluminum body is the most heavy-duty light I have ever owned. The LED has four brightness levels and a surprisingly long run time before recharging. The battery is non-user serviceable and uses a proprietary magnetic charging puck that plugs into a type A USB charger. Charging time depends on your charger capacity, but it is surprisingly fast. It also has a green laser pointer, but I have not used it yet, so I cannot comment on performance. The UV light lens is wide-angle for close use and does not project long distances. It fits nicely in the hand and has a convenient clip. It also has a transport "lock" that requires pressing the button for one second to unlock and two seconds to lock, thus preventing something from inadvertently bumping the button to turn on the light when not being used. In my opinion, this is the Rolls Royce of everyday carry lights, with the addition of the pointer and UV lights. ... show more
