Fabric is lightweight similar to a sheet. Soft and smooth to the touch. I bought white to cover a white down comforter and it looks good but it wouldn’t likely provide good coverage if your comforter has a color/pattern. The small pleats add a bit of interest without looking bulky. I’ve only had it two days and haven’t washed it so I have no idea how well it will hold up. I am so excited about this duvet cover! It is so soft and the pleats give it a little texture. The ties on the inside of each corner make it very easy to put your comforter inside.
