Pros: Beautiful, accurate, self-winding works fine if you wear it all day and take it off at night. Watch will still be running in the morning. Very classy and refined look of the gold trimmed quality watch band and the gold accents on the blue face. The open-heart flywheel is the showstopper. Cons: The day of the week and date markings are so small that I need magnification to read them, and I have no need to read the month and the year. As I will only be wearing this beauty on some occasions for a day or two at a time, I will not be setting the day and date, only the time. I chose the automatic version for nostalgia sake, plus I do get weary replacing batteries every couple of years. The watch and band are well made and fit together like they should. The only thing I find myself wishing for is greater luminescence on the dial and hands. It is practically impossible to see, even after significant time in direct sunlight.
