I usually get the bones reds and well i will no longer do that. these are a very fine product and the price is amazing. these are ceramic bearings for under $40 !!!! These roll so nice and smooth and for so long. I will be switching all of my boards over to these. I was pretty skeptical at first but glad i went for them. I was sceptical about inexpensive ceramic bearings, but these proved me wrong. They spin for days and are super smooth and quiet. I highly recommend these! I recently got back into roller hockey. The abec 9s that came with my Bauer skates were terrible. I purchased Bones Swiss. They were far superior to the abec 9 but broke down quick. Couple of bearings went bad within 10 skates. I was going to replace a few bearings but was talked into Bronson Raw. They were terrible. The shavings from the wheels got suck in the bearings and half wouldn't spin. Easy to clean just drop some lube and spin. I ended installing them backwards in the wheels to give some protection. They are a good bearing for holding speed but the top speed wasn't there. I researched and researched. Looked in to a bunch of options and decided to give these a shot because of the money back guarantee. These bearings are amazing! The were so smooth and fast! I would say the top speed is the same if not better than the Bones Swiss. I know Bones Swiss Ceramics are the Gold Standard but for $250 for 16, no thank you. I guy on my team has them and I am able to keep up with him with the OldBoy. Definitely a great value. I have only skated on them once and am looking forward to them breaking in. I’ve rusted through a few sets of bearings in my time(I live it wet areas), and decided it was finally a good time to switch to ceramics (seeing as glass doesn’t rust and all). I saw these posted at a great price, and looked up the website to see if they were legi since it seemed too good to be true. But not only are they real, but the company is actually super friendly and helpful and responsive to emails. After I finally got these in the mail, I immediately popped them onto my board and I can already feel the difference. They ride smooth and speedy, and this is on day one- as I’ve heard, the lubricant for the bearings takes a bit of use to fully disperse and get to peak performance. If that is the case, I’m going to be astounded by their performance. They don’t feel cheap or look it, with a cool outer shield design and sturdy feel all around. And special mention has to be made about the rad logo, free sticker, and pyramid container just on pure cool factor. Love these bearings! ... show more

These bearings are amazing for the price point! I have 20+ long boards and these bearings compete with ones that cost 3 times as much if not more! I have proof clocked at 42 in a 30 cop just gave me a warning.

First off, this company has tremendous customer service! I had an issue with one of the bearings, and it was my fault, sent them a pic and asked it I could buy a couple instead of having to buy the whole pack, and Gary replaced my set, free of charge. So, yeah, this review starts there. That's WOW customer service! Bearings - I put these on my eboard and they are incredible. No noise, and you could just tell by the feeling and vibration of the ride that these are sick bearings. For the price they ask, this is an absolute bargain and no brainer for anyone who wants a better, long term solution to brands like Reds and Stingers. Honestly, you have to experience these on your board to truly appreciate them and understand the difference I'm talking about. Trust me, there is a difference. Packaging- The packaging is brilliant. There is an OLDBOY stiker in the pyramid on the bottom with the bearings (not in contact with the bearings). The presentation is just well done, unique and different, which in my world, again, separates them and their product on every level, including packaging from everybody else. They leave no stone unturned with their brilliant product. My conclusion is that everything about this product and this company is class. First class.     • Balls Are Ceramic, Housing Is Steel
Size: Set of 8 Style: Ceramic Bearings
If you are looking for rust proof ceramic bearings, these are not it. Doesn't do any good to have ceramic balls if the housing is still steel. If they get wet, the housing will rust and the bearing will still cease up. The entire thing has to be ceramic or it is pointless.
