My dogs (labradoodle and Chesapeake bay retriever) love these bones. My only complaint is the packaging. The bones came in a plastic bag that wasn’t even sealed. It was a little ripped. The bones seem fine but because of this poor packaging I don’t trust 100% the freshness of the product. I don’t think I will order them again. We’re talking about food here and the packaging should ensure the quality that comes inside. Too bad because my dogs really like these bones. BTW I took the bones out to keep them in a dry container and when I counted them I noticed that 64 bones came in the box, instead of 68 which is what is advertised. ... show more

These are my favorite treats. I’ve tried lots of different brands with my lab puppy. Now 5 mo old. I feel like the price is very fair. I don’t want cheaper with crappier ingredients. I feel like the ingredients are very good. I love that you can buy a 6lb box at once, as I go through treats like crazy. I would buy the 20lb box if I had somewhere to put it. I also like the different sizes. I use all three sizes depending on what/why I’m treating. Even the mini ones take a few seconds to chew. That is helpful when training a puppy and a few seconds can help. I don't use that as “training treats” per se, but for things he’s “almost” mastered. And the mini is the perfect size to get his leash on when he’s bananas to go outside. ... show more

I purchased my first box a few months ago and all 4 of my Chihuahuas could not get enough of this. I ordered a second box and my dogs won't touch them. They take one sniff and drop it to the floor one took a bite and spit it out and that was m red flag. That is not like my dogs at all because they are greedy. Animals know when something isn't good for them. I had to throw away the entire box after three days because they all refused to eat them. My poor dog. LOVED these. She picks things up and hands them to me for payment. She grew up eating Milk ones but food allergies sent me searching for more organic large biscuits. I chose these. After extensive bathing and accounting for EVERY other external factor, running out of Mother Hubbard doggy biscuits was the best thing I could have ever did. Miserable, INCESsANT itching and scratching and infect lesions have COMPLETELY stopped after a week of antibiotics and Mother Hubbard dog biscuits. So i got no qualms with the brand, but my 50 lb mongrel mutt is allergic to something in the ingredients. Just a heads up if you notice misery and itching. Before steroids and a vet visit, try stopping the Mother Hubbards. Note: I used as reward medium and larger biscuits of all variety flavors including peanut butter. No biscuits no itching. Package shipped in original box. Biscuits in plastic bag was opened in the box, not sealed. May broken and burnt looking. Don’t know if they’re old, but they look aweful, in fact, my eats everything and didn’t eat it so what does that tell you?

I have two dogs, a very large 80 pound Lab/Border Collie mix and a Pomeranian. I generally buy larger treats for the bigger dog and break them up for the smaller dog. These things are as hard as bricks and impossible to break. Even the large dog, who is young and has jaws the size of an alligator, seems to have trouble eating them. I checked the packaging to see if they're expired and they aren't, but I still suspect that some issue in the packaging has made them stale. It must be like eating rocks for my Lab and he doesn't seem to enjoy them at all. Pitched the bag with most of the treats still inside. ... show more

Got old Mother Hubbard dog bones today . Packaging was good . I have 4 100lb Boxers & these bones were so big they couldn’t eat them . I had to break them in 3 pieces just for them to eat them.

Butter, the spoiled mini poodle approves! The box once opens has a smell of fresh peanut butter, and he chose this treat over his usual dog bone treat. He is little, but he has always chosen the larger treats when offered a choice. If he is happy I am happy :)
