Bath mat looks great and is super soft. But I tried to wash it like I do all my rugs, gentle cycle in washing machine. It was too heavy when wet and washer kept getting unbalanced. Took forever to dry and the backing is all cracked (not dry cracked, but more like rips). It still works fine, but not sure how to wash it in the future. ... show more

I ordered two different sizes of this rug, the 20x32 and the 16x24. They're okay at best, but I have a few gripes. My first gripe is the very confusing purchase limitation placed upon these rugs. I originally wanted to order three of the 16x24 rugs, but apparently I can only buy a single one? Why? My guess is that this is some kind of cash-grab ploy by the seller to get you to buy the bigger mats (which interestingly enough DON'T have a limitation). That's just scummy, and in retrospect I kind of regret giving this company any of my money based on this business practice alone. The rugs themselves aren't anything special, but they're not terrible either. The softness is average, the absorbency is average, and I haven't had to wash them yet but I don't envision any issues there either. I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the mats sliding around on the floor, and want to add my two cents' worth. The mats do shift around quite a bit on my tiled bathroom floor, and it's annoying to have to constantly straighten them out. That said, I've never had them slide out from under me or anything. I saw one guy say that both he and his wife slipped on these and hit their heads on the floor. Did this guy buff his bathroom floor with Crisco or something? I mean, the mild shifting is annoying, but it's not THAT bad. Not once have I felt like the rug was going to slip out from under me when getting out of the shower. I'm pretty sure this guy and his wife slipping had more to do with "user error" than the floor mats themselves. You guys know you're typically supposed to dry yourself off BEFORE you get out of the shower, right? tl;dr version: Company has scummy business practices, mats kind of shift around a little bit, you're better off just going to a retail store and buying bathroom mats there. ... show more
