We are so excited about this TV stand with the fireplace. You can change the colors of the flames. You can also change the color of the lights. You can rotate the lights and the flames. It puts out pretty darn good heat. The main thing is the quality of this TV stand, it is so sturdy! The doors don't slam closed, they have the slow closing mechanism. The directions were easy to follow. Although it is time consuming to put together! There are a ton of pieces and this is going to take some time to put together. It took me many hours to assemble. The instructions were good except they didn’t explain that you’re putting it together upside down in some steps. You must go slow and pay attention. More complicated than ikea but much higher quality when finished.

I am mechanically inclined and own all the tools necessary to build a house. However, reading that other people completed the assembly of this product within 2 hours is not true. It's not about strength or ego, it's about time. The number of panels, pieces, and attachments, must be close to 300 items. Unloading the two very large boxes that weigh one hundred pounds each will take at least an hour! I was able to assemble the entire TV stand by myself, but it casually took me 2 hours per day for about 3 days. With that said, I have a perfectly constructed TV stand without a single scratch or crooked drawer, which is important to me. I have hardwood floors so I was able to benefit by sticking 1" round felt sliders along the bottom during assembly. This enables me to "easily" push a two-hundred-pound piece of furniture with ease. I strongly recommend a power screwdriver that limits the torque so you don't blow through the pre-drilled holes. Yes, all of the panels are made from weak, composite wood, but when fully assembled properly the item is nearly a bulletproof beast. The heater works so well that if you hold your hand up the the vent within 6 inches, you will have 3rd degree burns within 5-10 seconds! Very dangerous if you have young kids. Fortunately, there is a built-in thermostat and timer for the heater that you can control. The lighting feature is fantastic. You can separately change the color and height of the flame, independent of the fake crystal rocks and side cabinet shelves. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. If there is a downside, it's the amount of time and space needed to build this product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Arrived in two boxes. Set up to assemble this on a Saturday morning and took about half a day with assistance from my wife. It was expertly packed to protect it from any damage while in transit. Followed the instructions and was able to put it together without much issue. I didn't follow the instructions where it said not to use power tools, and what it really means is it's easy to strip some of the screws if you torque it too much. I would recommend easing the screws in with the power tool then finish tightening with a regular screwdriver. Also the glue is important so you may want to have some wood glue on hand if you don't want to smell the glue it comes with (it's nasty). My only real complaint is that you can't turn off the side LEDs independent from the fireplace and you also cannot change the color of those independently from the fireplace. Other than that it's very sturdy, tall, and looks amazing. Had a great time building this together with my loved one. ... show more

This fireplace is absolutely gorgeous and well with the wait...I 'll tell you it is so well made wood is beautiful....took a white to put together...first one came damaged had to wait a while for the replacement...but so happy I did...just love it..fireplace changes colors as well as the glass doors change the same color as the fireplace....love it ... show more

First, if you don't like assembling things, this is not for you. Yes, there are a ton of pieces and the instructions could have been a bit more detailed, but it was all extremely well packed and I followed it just fine. I was seriously concerned after seeing the huge, heavy boxes they came in, but I think half the weight was the packing materials. Now, there are a couple of points during assembly when having a second pair of hands is beneficial, like turning it right side up, otherwise one person could definitely assemble it. Make sure you have plenty of room. If fact, it's probably best to assemble it in the room you plan to put it in. As well, while it's still upside down, if you have any of those little adhesive felt floor slider/protector things, that's the time to put them. One last thing, you have to unscrew the glass from the fireplace to manually place the acrylic crystals, which must be done before you insert it into the console. All in all, I'm very pleased with the look, quality and sturdiness. As an added note, our soundbar fit well in the space above the fireplace, so if you have one, that may be of interest to you. Another thing, the instructions for the fireplace say not to use an extension cord, to use a dedicated outlet and not to plug anything else into that outlet. This could be an issue if you don't have many outlets. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I loved what I ordered because it arrived before time and in good condition. It took my husband four days to really put it together because he wanted to use wood glue to seal and make sure it was secure. It’s an amazing piece of woodwork. I really love the light that changes on its own without us having to change it as well, and it fits the room perfectly. It really lit the room up a lot better as well. Glad I ordered it.
