It's a great idea but it's lacking in performance. It squirts a small amount in a straight line and then drips all over the handle when done. It's messy. 1/5/2024 I noticed I have two different pumps. They look almost exactly alike except one bottle is a bit shorter and the tube inside is slightly different on the bottom (one is just a tube, however, the oil one has a wider bottom). The one I reviewed earlier the (shorter one with the tube) works great for water, It's great for dampening your hair or spraying water on whatever you need. The oil one (taller and has a wider opening on the tube at the bottom) sprayed great! I will be using this frequently for my olive oil. I hope this helps. ... show more

I recently tried this oil spray and it has made my baking experience so much easier. The spray is easy to apply, providing an even coating without any mess.     • Works well, but get's a little messy
Works well overall, but sometimes it will get a little oily around the trigger. It's not too bad though, so I still rank it a 4 star. Good value and I like the amount it holds.

    • Excellent Oil Sprayer
I can't imagine how my old metal oil sprayer disappeared during a kitchen renovation, but I finally gave up the search and decided to buy a new one. The old one was serviceable, but kind of messy, and the oil squirted more than sprayed, so I read some reviews and settled on this. I wasn't expecting it to be all that different from the metal one, so I was thrilled when I found it superior in every way. First of all, it's a true mister. The oil comes out in an even spray that is easy to direct so there's no mess. Besides that, the amount that comes out is plenty. With just a few sprays, I have exactly what I need. Everything about it is great, so far, though I haven't used it long enough to see what happens when it clogs. I was a little disconcerted when the directions said to only put in the amount of oil you needed, because that wouldn't work for me, but I filled it about a third full and I've been using it everyday for about 3 weeks and haven't had to refill it yet. My feelings may change if it begins to clog or is hard to clean, but for right now, It's perffect. ... show more

    • Cheaper than pre-bottled Olive Oil spray
I was spending a ten bill on Olive Oil spray in a can. This was less than that and uses my favorite olive oil which I buy in half gallon size. If you use spray Olive Oil in a can, this is a better alternative. Environmentally friendly. Takes some adjustment as it sprays a bit differently than canned olive oil and can leak a bit down the front of the jar. Worth the effort! ... show more

    • Good water bottle
I bought this for oil, rather then using aerosol spray oil, it it didn't work out. It spray water great, but vegetable oil mist be too thick, as it sporadically splits it out. So, I washed it and use for sprayer bread when baking. Makes for a good crust.
