    • Good modern oil and vinegar set
I purchased these for our household for a Christmas gift, and we've been using them for a couple of months. Each carafe has three pieces - the glass base, the metal top/spout, and a plastic stopper. It's not clear from the pictures, but the tops and stoppers do screw into/onto the base - they are a friction fit. That's not particularly an issue, but just something to be aware of. The stoppers are notched, and so are intended to pour when aligned with the spout and to seal when turned perpendicular to the spout. In practice, one also needs to pull up a bit on the stopper when trying to pour, and I would think there would be some risk of pulling the stopper up too much and having it come out while pouring. That hasn't happened to us yet, but again something to be aware of. I'm also not convinced that the stopper creates an air-tight seal when closed. These are minor issues and we're not concerned as we use the set regularly. All the parts are labeled as dishwasher safe, and we do run everything through the wash when empty. I might be concerned about using these for occasional use and long term storage, but I think that would be true of any oil and vinegar set. We like the modern look, and we especially wanted something different than the long pour spout and plastic cap so common on other sets. At $30 they are a bit on the expensive side, but we like them well enough that we'll be ordering another set so we can have multiple flavors available at the same time. ... show more

Nice design. Fantastic finish. Only problem is oil drips along the bottle line while pouring.

Adorable and sleek looking but not functional. They are small and the lid/stopper is not sturdy.

Expensive and dripps, not even good looking in person. I use the bottles bought from store and bought pour from tablecraft is much much better to use in my kitchen.
