I liked this lamp for the long, thin lamp that spans the length of the laptop and the 360° rotation of the lamp. It is not as bright as I had hoped. The picture with the laptop closed is the brightest setting and the pic with the laptop open is the dimmest. I'm on the computer a lot at night, after my kids go to sleep and sometimes I wish I bought the lamp with the option for warm-cool light and 5 brightness levels. I was looking for a simple lamp I could use for various purpose around the house and I'm very happy about my purchase. Beside its nice appearance, the lamp can be adjusted to any positions you like, and it's brightness set to your convenience with a simple tap of the finger on its base. With the provided charger, the power consumption at the outlet are 0.8W, 2.8W and 7.4W respectively for the 3 brightness levels (low, mid and high). The low level (setting in picture) is plenty for me for most of the activities, i.e reading, writing, sawing... and it's nice to have a sub-watt light source for extended usage. Overall, I find this lamp less expensive and superior to many other lamps I have at home. I will most likely buy more when needed. ... show more

Works well for a little writing nook in the bedroom. Has multiple brightness settings. I was specifically looking for one with a regular plug rather than USB and this fit the bill. I will see how well it continues to hold up.
