I’ve tried the “usual suspects” in the rotary drill press available choices, and all of the others had plastic components which made the too unstable for drilling/milling repeatability. This one was the clear winner. Although a bit inconvenient to change settings (hex screws for all adjustments) it proved to be quite solid once set up. Using a Dremel 4000 required a special adapter (which happens to be one of the components in the Dremel grinding/sanding add-on accessory) it fit snug as a bug. This little guy works well. I also purchased a small vise which I mounted to the base platform. The unit doesn't have much for a range of motion. You will need to adjust where the drill or Dremel tool is mounted in order to get the tool where you need it. The unit was easy to assemble and easy to use. ... show more

    • Not a perfect fit
Had to mickey mouse to fit my drill, works as advertised. Not perfect, for example drilling holes don't go straight down its slightly angled, because of this I had to rotate my wooden floor tile over to get an even cut. The Amazon deko for sale is not compatible nor powerful enough to handle spade drilling, but it will do basic drill bits. Had to modify this drill press to fit the deko entrance is off by 1-3mm. Going to upgrade to a wire drill hopefully results are better with consistent power, battery pack safety features didn't allow me yo fully test. ... show more

    • Great Drill Stand, Manual in Chinese.
The drill stand is easy to assemble and works well with my Dewalt DWE5010, as it attaches by clamping on the area that the side handle clamps to. Many other drills should work with the stand too, as the stand comes with clamp adapters to fit different sizes. I use the drill stand regularly to drill through metal, plastic and wood, and it is reasonably precise. I also clamp a wire wheel into the drill to use as a mini bench grinder. However, the instruction manual for the drill stand is in Chinese, so if you do not read Chinese this may not be the drill stand for you. Also, the brand is not Ogrmar, as the tool is labeled 迷你。For $40 this really is a good value, as I already have a professional grade drill which drills through everything I work with. ... show more

    • Brittle cast metal.
Poor quality material, the screw to tighten the drill on stripped the first time with hardly any pressure. Made from cast metal that crack almost immediately... went straight to the trash after using it twice.

    • Time consuming
It is time consuming. When you need to make an adjustment to drill, up or down you get that stupid little piece of crap Allen wrench and start turning. I’m going to buy a set of Allen’s with handles. I’ll get used to it but right now it’s a chore. The drill press does seem to be well made. This thing will fill a need I had without spending a bunch of money. Overall ( I’m happy, I think. lol UPDATE: Like I said before, I don’t need it much i now use it more. It IS a very well made piece of equipment. A few small negatives, you know the rope thing. I wish the lever handle position was adjustable. But overall im happy ... show more
