I've put it on top of 2 older liners just below pool. Got one 2 feet larger to wrap up side and hopefully avoid blowing dirt/rain(live in the country) seems solid and a good value. E shall see.

Ordered based on the reviews, prepped our ground based on pool recommendations. Laid the pad down and began setting up and filling our pool. As we stretched out the liner we could feel the pad shifting with it but figured the weight of the water would solve it. After it was completely full we decided to drain and and reset the pad bc there were too many inconsistencies felt under foot. After removing the pool liner to inspect the pad we realized the pad didn't bunch up, but it tore open in several large spots. And was allowing sand through. The reviews mentioned it was thick enough so that's why I bought it and maybe I just got one that had some QC issue, but I'm super disappointed since I spent almost a week after work just prepping the ground for this pool. ... show more

This liner pad was accurate in size for my 18' pool, but thin. Hopefully it will protect my pool from rocks and tree roots that could resurface over time.
