This mount works well for mounting lights and an antenna on side x sides. The reason for 4 stars is, the included allen screws are too short. I had to drive to Ace, and get longer screws to attach the 2 halves of the mount.

Not that it's the sellers fault. The screws stripped out easy. I had to drill bigger and retap. If I want in a hurry for them, I would have exchanged. When I drilled them out, I noticed voids in the casting. Seller would have not known. Got product fast.

I purchased these mounts to hold the whips on our side-by-side. I idea was to move the whips up higher so it is easier to see when at the dunes. They work good. I did have to use some different lining material to get the mounts to stay tight on the tubing; the rubber inserts would not hold the whips when running at higher speeds, would allow the whips to lay back some. They would work great for lights with the inserts that were provided with the mounts. The mounts are made of aluminum and the fasteners are stainless steel so they will not rust when gotten wet, we have run ours in all kinds of weather; rain, wind, & snow and in about every condition out mud, water, snow, sand, & dust and they are holding well. ... show more

the Mount is awesome! there are so many combinations with the rubber parts I have enough for a second light!. I tried to drop them a note and cant find them. I just needed the Alu. mount and had enough spacers. O' well. Great Part
