I've been slowly replacing the aging light fixtures in my house and I have tried numerous lights from Amazon. This light is the best of all the lights I've purchased. Installation was so simple thanks to a tether that holds the light in place so one person can easily connect the wires. I ordered two of these lights and immediately ordered two more. They are super easy to install, just wire nut the black to black, white to white, and green to copper, twist the light onto the base and turn on the light switch. The remote control is intuitive and simple to use to adjust the Kelvin temp (warm light to natural light to cool light) or the dimness. The remote is so much more efficient than having an app on the phone to make adjustments. We installed these lights in a home we are remodeling to simulate "sun tubes" and the effect was perfection. The price was perfect and we couldn't be happier. I contacted the seller with a question and they responded within 10 minutes, so I'm giving the seller 5/5 on customer service as well. The product was easy to install. I like being able to control the brightness and color temperature with the remote control. What I am disappointed with is the fact that this light doesn't shine any light on the ceiling. I have attached a photo of a newly painted wall. The wall is darker near the ceiling and lightest about 1/3 of the way up from the floor. This gives the room the feel of an overcast sky. It is depressing and messes with my head. I will be buying another light for this room and put this light in a place where I don't spend much time. ... show more

I am using it to sit on top of a piece of furniture and have the light shining upwards. It works great. It is really nice that you can change the type of color of the lights, turn it on and off as well as dim it all from the remote. It has more features than I think anyone might really want but you can just not use the ones you don't want. It seems fairly well built. So if it doesn't break prematurely then I will buy a couple more of them. ... show more

I needed a decent remote control light for my child’s bedroom. I installed this light in 3 minutes minus the time it took me to turn off the breaker and chase the kids around with a flashlight.
