    • Inconsistent operation

This is the third unit I purchased. I am happy with the brightness, and the ease of install. My only concern with this product is the inconsistency in operation between units. I put two in my Garage. The first one I installed was perfect. I point the clicker at it, from anywhere in the garage, and there is an instance response. The second one I installed will only turn on if I am directly under the light and point the remote directly at it, and a specific angle. Good right brain exercise. It’s not a battery or remote issue. I still like these lights, and I just bought a third to hang in the roof access storage area. Had a plug installed, ordered the unit, and waited. It arrived in good order, however, once wired the clicker will not turn on the light. It works fine on the other two, but not this one. An electrical I asked to check my work could not make it work either. I will exchange this unit and see if the 4th is better. Stay tuned. New unit arrived and worked like a charm. ... show more

OMG, it is just beautiful. It replaces an old fan with two incandescant bulbs that never lit the room properly. I determined that I did not need the fan and found this light on Amazon. Came today and it was up in 30 minutes. Maybe it was me but I found it a little difficult to snap the light to the base but once I did I was just amazed at the results. Lights up every corner of the roughly 12 x 15 bedroom turned office. The remote easily and intuitively provides 3 temperatures of light from daylight to very to very warm yellowish light. Full dimmer capability. A "moonlight" setting of very low soft light. Continuously adjustable light color which I will probably never use. A 50% light intensity which I probably will use. A 30 seconds to off setting that I will use when I leave the room. I just hope it lasts. Assume it did last from this data Feb 20 2021 if you do not see an UPDATE. ... show more
