Mounted behind the grill which will keep most water off it, so I will never be able to testify to its waterproof-ness. Feels and looks extremely high quality. It's actually impressive. All LEDs working at time of arrival. Comes with mounting brackets but don't be surprised if you have to make your own depending on where you want to mount it. Very bright. Nice spot, great flood. The included wiring is pretty great. Not sure I care for their choice of on/off switch. It's an adhesive-backed switch intended to stick to your dash, but the part that really bothers me is that the red LED on it is powered full-time. You could "fix" that by cutting the black wire to the switch which would disable the LEDs on it. Chopping it and wiring in your own switch is easy. Yellow=+12V (source, from battery), Black=Ground (not required unless you're going to wire an LED), Red=switched +12V (hot activates the relay which turns the light on). Would highly recommend this bar. ... show more

I installed this light on my quad for night driving off road, it is just what I wanted , very easy to install on my quad top, it is very bright, it lights up center and both sides of road, I like the led red light on the switch, makes it easy to find in dark to turn on/off

    • Worth the money but fairly annoying
I liked how easy it was to install it took about 10 minutes with a drill and it is very secure. Definitely worth the money very bright and love that you can adjust the angle of the light. Only downside is it does cause a whistling that you can hear inside the car that is *very* loud. I have to turn the stereo almost all the way up to drown is out. And it's the worst from about 45mph-65mph. Before and after that range it isn't so bad but we travel in that speed range a lot so it is fairly frustrating. ... show more

I want to start off by saying I was refunded my total order for writing this review. Upon opening the box and looking over the light, it is made of what feels to be durable aluminum. The fins were not flimsy at all and I liked how the lens came with a protective film. I have the light bar installed on my hood and it fits perfectly. The light output on this is amazing, it lit up my whole back yard. This light bar is definitely worth the purchase and will remain on my Jeep. Shipping, delivery, etc. was great - typical Amazon. The build quality of the light seems good. Time will tell. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed with the brightness. My prior 21" (also bought on Amazon but no longer available) was MUCH brighter. I had to replace it because it finally stopped working. I later found it was merely a plug between the switch and light that had become corroded. I never needed to get rid of the light, but the lens had cracked and it would have failed eventually. But that's another story). I hoped this one would be a good replacement. But If I have my high beam headlights on, turning on this light bar is barely perceptible, even after every attempt to aim it. It's just not that bright. It's a combination flood/spot. But having to guess it's about 70% flood, 30% spot. To sum up - it's inexpensive and seems well-built. It's still probably a fair value. Just don't expect to be awed when you first turn it on. ... show more

Ford BRONCO drivers do not buy this light bar if you are installing above your windshield. Makes a VERY loud whistling noise, i think the gap between the bar and the middle of the upper windshield creates a whistling affect. I am changing out for the curved hopefully that resolves the issue. Other then that the product is well made heavy duty and very bright, if you are going to install anywhere besides the windshield I would highly recommend. ... show more
