The mask has a silicone strap and skirt that seals extremely well. It easily passes the suction test. While the skirt is black and blocks peripheral light, the mask is fairly low profile and doesn't have a claustrophobic feel. The glass is distortion free and the antifog coating works well (too soon to tell how long the coating will last). The fin pockets are soft and comfortable with minimal chafing. Minimum foot size is about 7 inches, around a kid's size 1 shoe. The blade extends 6 inches beyond the toe, so the fins are not very hard to manage. I am a child sized adult. Most things I get are too large for me. This set is great because the mask fits really well and is comfortable. I have had other fins before and they were not flexible and dog into my feet while wearing them. But these are so comfortable, rubbery, and adjustable. The snorkel is awesome because typically my lips feel like they are going to tear using an adult sized snorkel and my jaw starts to hurt from keeping my mouth open so wide. But this one is so comfortable and fits really well. And the color is awesome!!!! The beach "towel" is more like a tiny tarp, but it does the trick for sitting on the beach. I bought this set for myself (26f) for a Cozumel trip. I have a small face so I needed the junior’s mask, and my feet are size 6 so they fit in the flippers. The fins are much smaller than the adult sized set that my boyfriend got, which put me off at first but then he read that smaller fins are actually easier for maneuvering in snorkeling. I’ve only tried the set out in my pool so far, but everything works and fits well. I had to really tighten the face mask well to avoid leaking. But I swam around for a while with no complaints ... show more

Overall it is a decent kit. The mask is very good, the snorkel is decent, and the fins are okay. The foot pocket on the fins seems a bit wide and deep for kids. We purchased neoprene socks to help take up any slack and aid in comfort.
