I liked the lights at first. In fact, I liked them so much that I bought them 3 times. That was a mistake, as they are not durable. After 2 months of mild usage the tiles start flickering. The first tile, that is connected to the cord is ok, but any connected ones lose their ability to produce light. The longer the distance to the cord, the worse the problem is. Disassembling and assembling back may fix the problem temporarily, might be day, might be as little as 10 minutes, but the problem will surely be back. I think, the culprit is weak usb connection between tiles. I wish it was USB 3 connection. USB 3 is much more secure. UPDATE: I tried some alternatives, but looks like ODISTAR is of best quality among multicolored hexagon lights controllable by remote control. I tried applying duct tape to usb connectors between tiles to hold them in place. So far, working good. ... show more

I got set of two for each of my kids as presents for newly resone room. Walls were freshly painted few dais prior sticking them to the wall. It lasted about a week,and they just fell down. Some of the lights do not work when you try to touch them in order to change lights . Its beautiful lights,but not worth the price. I wish i could return them, but like i said it was present... dont waste money,find something else with better quality for such money ! ... show more

Got the product and I was happy to see it came with all the parts, unlike some reviewers had received. But, it only lights up one of the hexagons and not all of them! I’ve put them in different orders and switched the boards every which way and still no success.

Missing all connectors, remote and cord. The box was clearly not inspected. They are made very cheaply - very thin plasic. Buy it ANYWHERE else. Needed to return the item but due to covid we were unable to get it shipped out in time for a refund.

    • Plz Read Before Buying - Highly Disappointed

I'll upload pictures and a short video soon. I purchased 2 sets of these (total of 12 lights), and I truly wanted to like them. They look really cool, they're bright, fairly easy to use, semi-decent quality for the price, and most of all, they're significantly cheaper than extremely overpriced Nanoleaf lights. However, a product is only as good as the functionality of it's intended purpose. Unfortunately, there are some MAJOR issues with functionality. Here are the biggest problems I experienced. 1) Overall build quality is decent, but the method of connecting the hex lights together is absolutely terrible. Each set includes custom USB connectors that are made like PCB's. They are rigid, and don't fit into the standard USB-A ports very well, leaving the electrical connection very loose. This poor connection is the one of the biggest problems. 2) The 6 USB-A ports on each light are also problematic. Many of them don't line up properly with the plastic cut-out and are completely unusable. This is also made worse by the poor design of the custom USB connectors from #1. 3) The plastic connectors that hold the lights together, don't work very well and break too easily. 4) Due to the poor USB connectors, the bad USB-A ports, and the plastic connectors, getting a good electrical connection from light to light is extremely difficult. In my experience, IF I could get them all working together, I couldn't touch or move them at all. Otherwise, some of the lights would start flashing or turn off totally. 5) Of the 12 lights, 4 of them had LED's that didn't show the same colors as the rest. Some colors were more noticeable than others, but a single red LED when everything else is white is VERY noticeable. 6) Not all 12 lights show the same color, some colors were different shades. 7) Some lights were brighter than others. 8) Sometimes one of the lights would randomly change colors for no reason. They would also start flickering randomly 9) The touch functionality didn't always work, and if you touch them you risk messing up the electrical connection. 10) After hanging them on the wall, getting them to work consistently was almost impossible, and even when I did get them all working together, they didn't always stay that way. 11) The remote didn't work very well, or maybe the lights just didn't receive the signal very well. I will update this review if anything changes, but for now, I would not suggest purchasing these lights for any purpose other than pure novelty. ... show more

Been looking to get some of these for a while but was hesitant because of the price, but I finally decided to try some and they are exactly as I'd hoped. Very small. Only controllable from the remote or by touching it to change colors. I wish you could do some of the effects they have with the colors you manually selected. But this all helps augment all of the lights I have in my office with the NanoLeaf being the primary one. But the NanoLeaf has a very hefty price tag but it is worth it if you want do a lot more with your lights. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Well for starters it works. Changes colors and stuff. Box is super generic, no brand or anything. Just hexagon lights But... It’s pretty thick compared to something like the nanoleaf but that’s really a personal preference thing. I like it being thick. Now heres the ugly, dimming it causes it to make this ungodly high frequency sound. So as long as you don’t dim it, it doesn’t make a sound. It also randomly changes colors at times after making it a color with the remote or touch. You can normally fix this by changing it back. It’s just incredibly annoying. The white light is also probably the ugliest white I’ve seen, along with the fact that white light often does that change color thing with no way to fix it. Probably component issue. But on the bright side each hexagon has 6 usb ports you can use for stuff, just don’t use it with white light because it will fail on you All together I’d say save up for a more expensive alternative but if you can’t this is fine but isn’t great by any measure. ... show more
