Broke within 20 min using with an inner-tube. Increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars as the Company issued full refund and sent new set of oars with in week of initial review. I will update again after testing the new set. Probably not until next summer.

This is great to have on my kayak in case I lose my paddle. This is sturdy and strong. You can open it to extend it all the way or partway, depending on your needs.
