While using the snorkel in the ocean, an individual informed me about the potential dangers of wearing a mask by saying "these masks are hazardous as they have the potential to cause unconsciousness due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide inside the mask." Although lower-quality full face masks may have this kind of problem, I can honestly say that I have not experienced any issues whatsoever myself. Additionally, the broad view provided by this mask is extraordinary, and it doesn't fog at all, which is another great benefit. However, the only thing that would make the mask more convenient would be a slightly longer snorkel. As I have had neck surgery, and having to hyperextend my neck is uncomfortable. I believe that having a snorkel tube that is one inch longer would allow me to maintain a straighter neck position, which would be a much more pleasant experience. ... show more

A friend told me how awesome full face masks were, and traditional gear just gives me so much anxiety and trouble, so we gave this a shot. I purchased the ML which was measured to fit me and my partner. The seal is amazing and we’re able to put our face in the water and snorkel for however long we want. It seals to our face, doesn’t let water in, and doesn’t fog. I’d recommend this mask to anyone as it’s def worth the purchase and looks pretty cool too. Once we dive wearing the mask, just a few feet under, there’s an overwhelming and uncomfortable pressure. I assume that’s normal and we don’t need to “dive” with this. I’d love to find something that’s more suitable for diving one day. We purchased both the mask and the fins in white and love the fit and quality of both. I got these kinds of masks when they first came out, thought I'd try a newer version and was super happy- this one was lightweight, comfortable and NEVER fogged up at all. these were great for floating around and looking at fish - you get a much better view than with goggles and this never fogs up. if you start doing any kind of swimming, though, you'll quickly run out of breath and become dizzy. this is coming from three strong swimmers. the air flow just isn't that great in these, but as long as you don't exert yourself too much, they work great. ... show more

Just got this for an upcoming snorkel trip, so have only tried it in the pool so far. Fit is good (M/L ) as measured by the size chart. It’s very comfortable and easy to breathe. Field of vision is great. My husband tried it out and promptly ordered his own.
