I love the look of these shoes, I ordered my usual size in white. The shoes appear to be well constructed, but are not white, more of a cream color. I am returning them in the hope that going one size smaller will work, they are longer than other shoes in this size.

I'm pleasantly surprised by these! They are definitely not the most stylish shoes ever, and they seem to run just a little big, but they're actually pretty comfortable. They also breathe well, which is a big plus for a summer shoe. These look similar to big-name brands of a similar style, but they're not dupes. They have a slightly raised sole, but it's not really a chunky sole-- I can't tell a difference when I walk. The footbed is comfortable and has just enough give. There's a little elastic at the sides of the tongue area, so it's not just stiff-- there's some potential give. The fabric material is breathable, unlike plastic-y shoes. The tongue comes up fairly high on the foot, but elastic at the sides keeps it from being uncomfortable. They don't really look cool or stylish, but they're super comfortable and just perfect for summer days, when you need something comfy to slip on. I'm positive that I'll get a ton of wear out of these, and that's what really matters. It's just a good summer shoe. I think the slightly large size can be easily resolved with a no-show sock, or it's also possible that summertime foot swelling will negate the slightly larger size. I got these shoes even though I have very wide feet (EEE) which has created a severe limitation to my lifetime shoe experience. Additionally, I’m more comfy in a 9 ½ but these were only available in 9. What was I thinking? Apparently, delusional thinking can pay off. Occasionally. OK, once. These went on quite comfortably, and even in wearing them around the house (to warm them up for the first couple of days) I didn’t feel pinched in either the toes or the width. And they have comfortable foam soles. So much so that for a recent trip to Chicago (I live in Los Angeles) to visit with my pals from college (in a previous millennia), I decided to pack these as occasional shoes because they are light and I was determined to take a single suitcase for a four day trip. … And they were exceedingly comfortable even for walking around Evanston. And on my last day (by myself, after everyone had gone) I got caught in a downpour like very few I’d ever seen – I was soaked to the bone, to the soul, and more germanely, to the sole. These shoes were flooded as was everything else I wore – there was no anticipating this storm, and even in the two blocks walking back to the hotel EVERYTHING I had was drenched such that I had to ask the hotel for plastic bags for each piece of clothing that had to fly back to LA the next day. The shoes, I assumed, were ruined. They weren’t. A day in the California sun dried them out. They were still as cozy as the first day they surprised me by being accommodating to my odd feet. These are not shoes to take hikes in but are smart casual shoes that do a lot more than they should. do recommend them and for me, even in the “normal” size, they were very nice to my abnormal feet.
