This device saved a $375 dealer visit to realign the ACC/Front Collision Sensor. If you have not hit something, you can do the basic recalibration with this device with the car 3.9/ft away from the garage door (Must be door to sensor distance with the front VW emblem). This worked for me and it is high quality. You must purchase pro subscription ($60) in addition to the price of the device but it is still less than half of the cost of one dealer recalibration.     • Saved me hundreds of dollars!
I bought a battery for my 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan from AutoZone. I then took it to the Volkswagen dealership to have them recode the battery. After a lengthy, lengthy wait of more than an hour, they came back and said they weren't able to recode it and I would have to buy a new battery. They charged me $90 for doing nothing, I Ieft ,bought this device and had it recoded in 5 minutes, well, actually probably more like 7 minutes! ... show more

    • OBDeleven MISLEADING MARKETING - Untrustworthy
I purchased the OBDeleven device from Amazon. I loaded the OBDeleven APP to my phone. I bought credits and the PRO VAG version through the companies OBDeleven APP. The device connected through blue tooth from my car to my cell phone. Then the problems started. The APP could not perform the function the OBDeleven website said it could. On OBDeleven's website they list my 2021 VW Tiguan as a compatible vehicle. I wanted to disable Lane Assist. With this feature you have to upgrade to the PRO VAG version and pay to do so. However, I was unable to use the feature in the OBDeleven APP to disable Lane Assist, even after I paid to upgrade to the Professional version.. I contacted OBDeleven support through email. I asked them for a phone number to contact them. I explained the unit does not function as expected. The app will not code the system in my vehicle. They did not reply with a phone number to contact them. Instead, they replied with this email message that I have copied and pasted into this review: Hello, thank you for your message. Sorry to hear that you are having issues. I can see that you have the newest Tiguan with MIB3 multimedia. We do not know how to deactivate this function for this model yet. Edvinas /OBDeleven I asked them to cancel and delete my account, and to not bill me. They replied with this email message: Could you please fill your application request on our forum for VAG HERE, so our OCA team can create the One-Click App for your vehicle 🚀 We are receiving many requests for more One-Click Apps and are working daily to add more in the future. Let me know if you will have any other questions. Edvinas /OBDeleven I emailed them back, and ask them again to cancel, delete my account and not bill me. They replied to my email with this: Where did you buy the PRO plan from? Edvinas /OBDeleven I have repeatedly ask them to cancel and delete my account, and to not bill my credit card. They have never once replied to that request, they always respond with a question for me from someone named Edvinas /OBDeleven Consumers be careful of this company.     • Bought for Audi Transmission Service
I got this unit to purge the dual clutch transmission on a 2018 Audi A4 Allroad. Figuring out what (if any) subscription package I needed and then which app I needed was more confusing than expected, but I can't quite fault OBDEleven for that. There are countless uses for the product and trying to list out everything required or not required for each of them would probably not make it any less confusing. I ended up using the VAG specific app and did not need any subscription in order to depressurize the transmission or monitor the temps when refilling. Navigating the app was slightly cumbersome but I managed to get to all the right settings so I have faith that you can, too. Probably the easiest and most advanced scan tool you can get for a VW family. Fairly inexpensive unless you want to pay for extra features. I use it on both my MK7 GTi and my B9 S4.

Let me start off by saying if you like doing things on your phone and you don't really want to dive very deep into your car than you will be fine with this. I had to replace my old VCDS program because it did not support my wife's Audi. I could have upgraded it but thought I would go cheap with the OBDeleven scan tool, seemed good enough at the time. I thought I had done my homework and saw in a chat where some folks were running it on an old Chromebook. I had one in my garage and thought it would work. Nope and I could not find an Android emulator that would work on Chromebook. It also will not run on a Windows PC I have using an Android emulator. So I have to run the scanner on my iPhone (which I really dislike.)You have to have credits to do much of anything and next to my old program it does not do much, especially long coding. If you just want to do small things and like using a small phone screen or tablet then this will do fine. Not blaming OBDeleven they state what devices it runs on and kinda, maybe, sort of tells you what it does. I contacted support and they were not much help. Looking back I wish I would have put out the extra money for a proven product that runs on Windows and does more. This just has not been a good experience for me. ... show more
