I didn’t expect this little unit to include the features it does and perform so well. It interfaced quickly with my Maserati, identified the code and explanation, and cleared the warning light. I used it on my Jeep to clear an annoying ABS light that’s a known error on the 2002 models. Even my mechanic couldn’t clear it after changing out all the ABS parts (and told me I’d have to get used to it randomly lightning up). This scanner is really great for the price point. I was a little concerned about the quality since it was under $15.00, but this one had same day delivery and I could not find mine anywhere. I didn’t want to spend a lot on another and needed it fast. Well, I was extremely happy that it arrived with in a few hours after ordering it and it works great, easy to read and aligned with the codes of my last reader.     • Had false Checkengine light due to Gas cap not being secured properly
Was able to plug it right in and had a chance fiddle around on the menus. I was able to clear the code that my computer was throwing. 2nd full day and haven't seen the false engine light againi. Thank you, Will by again/recommending to friends and family.

    • If you're in a pickle, this is great
Sure, you could spend over hundred bucks for a nicer looking car scanner but this one does what it needs to do. My only critiques are: 1) This feels like a hollow toy when you hold it. It just doesn't have any weight to it and it doesn't feel like it should be a tool that helps scan your car. 2) The cord itself could be another 12 inches long. It is much shorter than the one I used to have and doesn't sit in the side pocket of the driver's door when you're driving (which is where I like to keep it plugged in). The cord is too short to be kept in the door when it opens and closes. ... show more

The setup guide made getting up and running easy and I really like the price point of this unit. The paper instructions also provided a youtube video to guide me through the use of the Scanner.     • Cheap but useful tool for gas car
My car has a check engine light on and wanted to know what is the real problem and decided to buy a cheap OBD scanner to figure it out. The LCD has a simple interface but easy to understand, to use it you just need to turn off the car and plug it into the OBD socket and then turn the car key to accessory mode and this OBD scanner will be turned on and starts reading the Code. Then you can Google what that code means. I'll keep it in my gas car and be able to determine if next check engine light is serious or not. ... show more

This is a small unit with a lot of features. It is easy to navigate the menu and easy to read. It came in a nice packaged box and shipped in a timely manner. This is a great tool to have for when you get a check engine light and want to know what’s going on. Great value for the price paid.
