I bought this tool with the intent of grinding down a stump. I started off pretty good, but died off very quickly. I could see where it would be awesome as a fine carving tool though. I game up on grinding the stump, which was not a very big one (around 12 to 14 inches in diameter) and just hired someone to grind it. My main issue with this tool is lack of guidance. I am. not looking for instructions per se, but guidance on how to care for the tool and maintain it. There are some clips that I believe are what keeps that chain on the disc, but I am not absolutely sure. Either way, the chain came off of the disc and I have no idea how to put it back on. I may have to find some youtube video or something to get it back on. So, if you are looking to grind a stump, I would look elsewhere. I recommend sticking to carving with this one. ... show more

In the first photo it is as advertised, in the second it is what I received. I wanted to use this disc to carve and shape wood, but these teeth wouldn't last very long. in addition to being small in size, they have a kerf of only 1.8 mm. I will return it immediately... !!

Used it for grinding a tree stump down and it worked out for that task. I will use it for carving wood also in the future. Care must be taken when use this carving disk. Be sure to have the guard on your angle grinder when using. I would buy again and recommend it to others.
