Olive oil should not be used in sautéing or baking at high temperatures as it becomes unhealthy; carcinogenic and a trans fat. All the great reviews are spot on! Great flavor and quality. It would be better if the Mild & Fruity were organic like the Green & Balanced variety.

I am not an expert on Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), but I've spent a lot of time learning about it and I've tried many of the top brands. O-Live is really good value for money. As any good olive oil should, this one comes well packaged and in a dark bottle to protect the contents from oxidation. The oil all comes from a single valley in Chile, which is a good indicator of quality, and it is cold pressed. The flavor is on the mild side, and not nearly as strong as other more expensive EVOOs, but it is quite pleasant and its lower price makes it an easy choice for day-to-day tasks like salads, dressings, and breads. For cooking I often use a cheaper EVOO because cooking tends to break down the flavor anyway. I also use cheap EVOO when I make home-made mayonnaise. Conversely, when I make a special meal or otherwise want the EVOO flavor to stand out, I choose a more expensive from Gaea. Gaea oil is a lot more tasty than this one, but it is also a lot more expensive so I only use sparingly. Yes, I have three different brands of EVOO at home. I like EVOO :-) ... show more

I bought two different awarded brands that I wondered if they were fake olive oil because they were flavor-flat but this one is the real thing. It has a good smell, fruity, fresh and great flavor. I like the robust olive oil and this one is great for a good price.

I typically use almond oil to remove my eye makeup. When I travel, it can be kind of sticky and gross carrying around a bottle of food grade oil. I got these to easily take a few “makeup removers” on the road with me cleanly. I have also taken these camping to use in cooking.
