ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS BECAUSE "It did not work with my carrier so its junk/no good..." THAT IS THE CUSTOMER'S FAULT NOT THE PHONE!!! It literally says " *Incompatible Carriers: A25 does NOT SUPPORT:Verizon, Boost Mobile, Tracfone, Pulse Cellular, Union Wireless, or Spectrum" in the description about the phone so stop living bad reviews because of your lack of attention and just clicking on it without research!!!!!!! Cant stant reviews like that. this phone is just as bad ass as my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G. Granted this is a 4G phone, but that shouldnt be an issue for anyone considering REAL 5G is only in larger cities and markets. This phone even works better at my office because its NOT 5g!! Camera is great! Operation is great! I have Cricket Wireless and it works better than most of the ATT phones i have used with this service! My games do not lag and seem to operate a little quicker due to the faster processor and memory! I honestly feel ALL bad reviews for this exact phone on here are just customers who always seem to look for the negative instead of put over all the positives as well! ... show more

    • POSSIBLY THE BEST SUB-$200 ANDROID PHONE ON THE MARKET

A quick review here of the NUU A 25 sub-$200 Android phone based on a few days of operation. (Longevity review comes later). Arrived on time, well boxed, had all accessories needed in the box to go with the phone: soft cover rubbery-like crystal clear case -- preferred because it takes the shock of a phone drop on pavement much better than a hard cover case ergo protects the innards of the phone better. Plus a quick-charger plus cord for it, screen protector already applied plus a useless manual that my brother’s 8-year old kid could have done a better job of writing, plus the most important thing: a fifth of VERY EXPENSIVE Irish whiskey. (Just kidding: the manual wasn’t that badly written.) Transfer of data from previous Android phone (I used Wi-Fi as we didn't have a c-to-c cord) took a while because of a few glitches, mostly my fault. Too long to get into. TIP ON DATA TRANSFER A solid tip here to save you time with data transfer: if you are transferring data from an old Android phone AND you are still using the same wireless carrier as was used with the old phone, then BEFORE you start data transfer: 1. Power both phones off. 2. Remove SIMM card from the old phone. 3. Place that old phone SIMM card INTO the SIMM card slot of the new NUU A 25 phone. (At this juncture I also took the opportunity to put a new 256G Micro-SD card into the 2nd SIMM card slot of the A25 as I knew I’d need it eventually.) 4. Power both phones back up. The new A25 phone will then read that SIMM card from your old phone and...WHALA! All your settings for you’re ongoing monthly phone contract, all your contact info you gave them for the first time-set up, the email address attached to the old phone, any auto-withdrawal setups of money to pay the monthly fee ….all of it is now nicely packed into the new A25 phone! You don't need to do a thing on that front. Your carrier (Cricket Wireless in our case) instantly recognizes you and your data as if you’d never left your old phone. All is same as it was before. 5. Then proceed with data transfer of photos, apps etc. using a cord or Wi-Fi. There’s YouTube videos that show the process. THE PHONE ITSELF To the phone itself: in a nutshell I was blown away that this thing is a sub-$200 phone. The fact that we paid only about $140 for a phone of this quality (after a $40-off coupon on Amazon was deducted at payment stage) is nothing short of stunning. This bad boy is plenty fast (be sure and set it for the 120Hz refresh rate) with a brilliant screen, very good colors (which you can adjust to your liking in a variety of ways) pretty darned good built-in speaker, plenty of RAM and storage for any normal adult human and basically all the standard bells and whistles in the right places. I’ve read some reviews where people griped a bit about photo quality, the sound etc. That is nonsense. Folks, we’re talking about a sub-$200 BRAND NEW Android phone that looks, walks, talks and sings almost as good as any $500 to $500 phone I’ve come across. Any gripes about “photo quality” or how it sounds is sheer nit-picking by somebody comparing it to a much more expensive phone. If you HAVE TO HAVE great, professional-grade photos then go buy a camera….or a $1,000 phone. Duh. HEAD-TO-HEAD WITH iPhone 10 We have a family member who has an iPhone 10 that is still in great shape. After playing awhile with this NUU A25 – which has a bigger screen, is brighter (much better screen and colors to my eye than what’s on that iPhone 10) and just about as fast at that iPhone 10 – she says if her iPhone busted tomorrow she’d have no qualms about buying one of these A25’s to replace it. She could not believe I paid $140 for this. So to sum it up: if you can find a higher quality sub-$200 Android phone than this one, you’re a better man than me. All props to the folks at NUU. I don’t know how you pulled this off at this price point but me a happy a camper (at least right now) that you did. Cheers! :) ... show more

For the price NO ONE can say it can get better ((new devices wise)) the biggest drawback was not having 5g. Screen Is crisp and colors are what you would expect from any average amoled display ((don't expect having a galaxy flagship display)) The 120hz refresh rate definitely helps keeping the phone smooth and lag free but it DOES NOT go well with the processor when you're doing gaming. The camera are....well cheap phone cameras lol Overall I would definitely recommend if you're on a budget and are not comfortable with trying used or refurbished devices! ... show more

This is an amazing phone. I really wish it would have worked for straight talk but unfortunately it does not support GSM. Otherwise the phone is amazing. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because they did not mention in the ad whether it was GSM or not.
