This is a roomy casserole. The oval design provides a perfect final nesting place for a small duck or chicken. I roasted a chicken with stuffing as a test. Perfect results. I like nice cookware so I am planning kidney beans and ground beef made with Worcestershire sauce and a light topping of mild tomato paste or ketchup. I have already used the dish for a couple of other simple casserole ensembles. Once again, perfect results with reasonably easy cleanup. The only area where an improvement could be made is the lid. This is an oval casserole so a lid with a generous amount of play can be a problem. When handling the casserole keep it squarely level. If this is not done, and your oven mit should nudge the lid just a bit you could find the lid falling abruptly into your dish. This is true of all oval casseroles, and yes most do have play in the lid. It is not a problem with round casserole dishes. However, unless you have an extremely large one you cannot roast a small fowl. Just a little precaution it is not a serious fault with the dish. I am thinking that most experienced cooks are aware of the issue. This design is not at all new to kitchens around the world. It is a time tested design of well over a century and now we have it with technological improvements in the glass. Certainly safer and more durable with Borosilicate glass. It is a really good piece of kitchen cookware. I am rating this NUTRIUPS 3L oval glass casserole with Five Stars. May your first creation be as successful as mine. ... show more

This is a great little casserole dish. It can be used to cook or serve. The lid is just as high quality as the dish itself. The color is crystal clear. We used it for a layer salad and a lasagna. It is the perfect size for a side dish or a lasagna for two. It has survived three rounds in the dishwasher and it remains crystal clear. I have a small selection of bakeware like this but my other pieces are opaque so I was excited to have a baking and serving dish that is perfectly clear. It's attractive enough to have at the table as a serving dish and also holds up to going from freezer into the oven without any issue.

I loved using this to make my homemade chicken pot pie. The fact that I could see the stuff inside front the sides was wonderful. It was very easy to clean and the side was perfect for my little family to have our dinner in. It very beautiful and thick.

These casserole dish with glass lid is lightweight . Nice design. It can hold a decent amount of food. Great for parties. And or any festivities. I have used it for baking but up to 380f only. And so far no issues with it. Just let it cool down before you wash it in water to avoid glass shock or shattered. The price is competitive. So far no issues with it. For longevity i will just have to wait and see . ... show more

I have a couple of wonderful Pyrex casserole dishes, but they are more shallow, and this fits the bill for deeper, more layered meals. Thick, high quality glass, and the lid handle is cast in, not screwed in, like cheaper designs. This is great for my layered Mexican or Italian casseroles, as well as other baked meals.
